Today 8/1/24 was probably one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve had to witness and I am not being dramatic. As my husband, my children, and I arrived at the St Simons Island restaurant to pick up our carrot order I parked in the parking lot. He ran inside, I noticed some teenagers outside in the parking lot looking at something and becoming emotional. I look over to a few spots away from where I parked and there’s a cat. A cat who had been hit my a car suffering. This image would be terrifying to witness anywhere but it happened to be here. As I try to block my children from looking in that direction and trying to contain my own emotions I notice employees coming outside. I was hoping that they would address the situation but to my disbelief there was an employee named Willie who was laughing. I kid you not laughing, and recording the dying cat. This behavior was not human. It was as if he was not empathetic and had no regard to respect and compassion. I find it hard to believe that this type of person would be employed at a chic fil a. Typically it’s a much better crowd but today this man showed his true colors and it was sickening, I was so disgusted by his behavior that I wasn’t even interested in my food. This whole experience was traumatizing. I asked my husband to go back inside and speak with the manager. But during that time more employees were coming out. In fact a heavy set woman walked out and was all smiles. I can’t believe the manager was allowing them outside like it was some type of show to witness. A man who tended to the drive thru came and just a few moments later the cat had passed away. How could the masher himself not come out and tend to this dying cat. How could he allow that many people to step away from their duties just to look. I’m disgusted by this behavior and you...

It all started with my initial order, unfortunately the online ordering was unavailable, so I walked it and was next in line right away, however there were 3 people on the registers, a manager was talking to a customer, and the cashier next to him was as well. After a few minutes the manager asked for another associate to take my order, he did call the associate, by the wrong name. Anyways, moving on, after about a couple of minutes waiting for the team, my order was taken. There was no buffalo sauce available that day. Meanwhile I was waiting for a good 15 minutes to have the restroom open up, to wash my hands, but unfortunately it was occupied even longer. After about 25 minutes or so an employee came out of the bathroom. Meanwhile the manager had offered me some sanitizing wipes if I would like them. After eating my son wanted to go wash his hands as well, at this point the bathrooms were occupied again. He went to the counter where he was knowingly ignored by the associate, to the point where a random woman repeated what my son had said, the associate didn't even walk up to him until I walked up. He the proceeded to ask what he wanted, and my buy said " a sanitizing wipe, he was asked "what?? A napkin?" After explaining what he wanted he was made aware that they were also indeed out of supply. I then asked for the sanitizing wipes, and was meat with "we can't give them out to customers" I told him that I was just offered some by the manager, but he denied that that was an actual thing they offered. I have never seen this kind of attitude and behavior at...
Read moreYikes ... Average experience for fast food in general, but probably the worst Chick-fil-A experience I have had. This was around 3pm on a Saturday. I ordered on the app and had the choice between Carry Out and Drive Through. I selected Carry Out. 15 minutes after pulling into the parking lot and submitting my order ... Nothing. So, I went inside as the app said I was to do when I got a notification, just in case my app was not doing right. Due to COVID, the dining room was not open. The team member closest to where I entered loudly asked the other team members, "Who unlocked the door?" I explained that I submitted my order on the app over 15 minutes ago and was questioning whether my app working because I hadn't gotten a notification. The team member got my name and asked the others to pull together my order. It was probably five more minutes before I was handed my food ... No apologies for the confusion or long wait or anything. The app then did tell me my order was ready. The food was, thankfully, good (which was not my experience with the chicken biscuits at this location the previous weekend). I'd definitely choose the Brunswick location...
