Sea Salt Healthy Kitchen — Restaurant in Georgia

As a vegetarian family with young kids, we’ve often been underwhelmed by dining options in the Jekyll/St. Simons area—until now. We stumbled upon this gem on our way out of town and were absolutely blown away.

From the start, the staff was warm and accommodating, especially with our kids’ preferences. The menu offered an extensive variety of fresh veggie and side options. The kids were delighted with their smoothies, tofu, veggies, and chips. My partner had the Mexican bowl with vegan chorizo and raved that it was amazing. I ordered the Vegano sandwich with a side salad and a homemade peach kombucha—every bite was bliss.

The Vegano sandwich was the best vegan sandwich I’ve had in 20 years of being vegetarian: hearty, stacked tall with toasted bread, warm spread, creamy tofu, and vibrant veggies. Even the side salad stood out—crisp, healthy greens with a perfectly balanced vinaigrette. The kombucha was a treat too: rich tea flavor, peachy sweetness, lightly carbonated—more complex than the overly fizzy, juice-like versions I usually find.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Every dish feels like it has a unique, thoughtful relationship with its ingredients. Even the tofu was prepared in a way I’d never experienced before—absolutely delicious.

Add in the reasonable prices, cozy dining area, and genuinely lovely staff, and you’ve got a phenomenal spot that’s both kid-friendly and soul-satisfying. We’ve officially found our new favorite restaurant for every beach trip. Highly,...

Wow, this place really knocked my socks off in every way! It's not just because the food was excellent, but it was the care that was taken while preparing and serving it.

The first thing that struck me was the wide range of plant-based options available. Being vegetarian in southeast Georgia can be challenging. But not at Sea Salt. I chose the "build your own" wrap, and it was amazing! The pesto aioli sauce was perfect and all the vegetables and fruits were fresh. The wrap was packed with flavor. The best part was the softness of the wrap and the fact that nothing leaked out because they took the time to sear the underside where it all came together. This is the kind of meal that is a pleasure to pay for.

It's been a while since I've eaten somewhere that takes this kind of care to enhance the customer experience. I also appreciated the compostable take-home containers.

And don't forget "dessert." We had the Chia Bowl which was divine.

If you want a change to the routine "fried/meat/cheese" that is a staple in southeast Georgia, I highly recommend Sea Salt. You will also certainly impress your out-of-town guests with a meal here, as well. I can't...

Absolutely Delicious!!! As a Vegan family, finding Organic and Vegan food to eat out is so wonderful and very hard sometimes!!! This was our very first time here and we Already Can't wait to come back, lol! Too bad we live a little over an hour away, but at least now we have a Teally good excuse to come back more frequently, lol... 😂🤣😂👍🏼 I can't say enough good things about eating here, the food came out quickly, it was very Delicious and the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant was very comfortable. We also enjoyed being able to Dine In, lol, what a commodity these days in 2020, whonwould of though! Another cool thing I will mention is that the bathroom was very neat, CLEAN and there was Febreze AND Poo~Pourri on hand, wow, very Nice touch!

So the bottom line is that we will be coming back as soon as we can, lol, and we Highly recommend eating here, Especially if you enjoy Organic, Vegan, Vegetarian or just Delicious food! The owner was also there and greated and thanked every guest personally, and the customer service etc was spot on!
