Yesterday, I arrived at Chili’s at 8pm to put myself on the wait list. The waiter informed me that it would be 20-30 mins. It was after 30 mins and I still didn’t receive a phone call from the waiter so I decided to check in and see what was the hold up bc I seen people leaving constantly. when I checked in the host was running her mouth to another employee and I asked about my reservation on the wait list and she told me that “I should’ve been sat down let me get you seated now.” After she sat us down, we waited an additional 15 minutes before I had to FLAG a waiter down to see what the hold up was again. This waiter was not assigned to our table. she informed us that she was gonna check and see who was assigned. When she came back she informed us that it wasn’t her but she took our order instead. I asked for a manager and was told that there was no one I could talk to because everyone was in the back cooking. I was also told that the manager on duty had been blowing other customers off all night. The soda machine was working incorrectly and the manager refused to address the situation to other customers. After she took our order it was 15 minutes before drinks came out but not ALL drinks, one of our drinks did not come out from the bar at the same time. it came out 15 minutes later. five minutes after the last drink came out they brought our food. the manager also came out at the time who was pregnant, I didn’t want to give her a hard time. however I informed her how we were treated and how poor the service was. When I received my shrimp pasta, it was POORLY seasoned. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes to send it back and once I sent it back it was out under five minutes because they were very close to closing. It was exceptional after i sent it back but it should’ve been that from the beginning. I had a terrible time at this chili’s in Albany, GA. I will not be returning. We did not leave until 10pm (the time they closed) and I am still not satisfied with the “accommodation” the manager gave us. However the waiter (I did not catch her name) and I’m assuming the main chef, TWAN, made sure that my food and service was good despite everything else that happened. They should not be faulted because of the horrible...
Read moreGiving three stars only because our server, Larry, was very kind, patient and helpful. We were on the road and stopped to get some dinner. We were seated immediately. We ordered a water, strawberry lemonade, and chips. All which came out within minutes. Food orders were taken and food also came out very quick. We had our entrees within 10-15 minutes of being sat which was nice for us since we were traveling but could feel rushed to others.
I am a vegetarian and it seemed the management wanted to up-charge for any request I tried to order the vegetarian version of. Why would I pay more when I am asking you to remove the meat or substitute the meat for a veggie? For example the Cajun pasta with chicken was $14.99. I ordered the pasta, sub broccoli for the chicken. I was then charged $14.99 plus a side of broccoli $3.50 when I substituted the chicken. Once I tried my entree I was not satisfied but I was already full off the appetizer so I just let it be. Sadly my bread was soggy. The pasta sauce was regular Alfredo with no Cajun seasoning and the pasta was covered in so much sauce it was hard to eat. I should've notified the server and I will honestly note that I did not. Since we paid at the table tablet no staff returned to check in. On a positive note, my boyfriend ordered the triple dipper and loved it.
The staff dynamic here was strange. It seems like one of the staff had their family hanging out in a nearby booth. We could hear the children yelling, the adults yelling at the child, etc. It was a strange because you could tell the staff were working but also hanging with this group. I have been a GM for multiple restaurants and I thought this was very unprofessional. I wish we were not seated near it at least. A manager it seemed was also discussing work issues with other staff on the floor as well for guests to hear, which I thought was inappropriate. It just killed our vibe and we were excited to relax and be...
Read moreOverall experience was horrible. Service wasn’t great, none of us received a refill once, the only thing we got were to-go cups after finishing our food and getting ready to leave. Although it wasn’t great, it was a bit busier, and we could tell our waitress was doing her best to be attentive to all of her tables. The real problem with our visit however was when our food came, one of my chicken tenders had a piece of hair in it. I quickly noticed this after a bite, so I then flagged down our waitress to inform her of the hair in my food. She informed me that she would get her manager and he quickly came over. Once I pointed out the issue, the manager mentioned numerous times “I don’t see anything”, then once he saw the hair cooked into the breading of the chicken, he prompted me to remove the single tender from my entire plate, place it on a napkin, and hand it to him for him to bring me another one. Keep in mind, I have eaten maybe one or two fries and a single small bite from the tender that contained hair. Its not like I had eaten half of my food, then decided to bring up a concern. I didn’t think he was being serious at first, but he indeed wasn’t joking. He then brought me another tender, but my appetite had disappeared by this time. The managers overall demeanor throughout the entire interaction was very disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I felt I was being treated as if I was “wrong” or “stupid”. In the end, I got a to-go box for my food, but ended up throwing the entire thing away when I got home due to the rest of the food still having contact with the hairy tender. The sandwich my family member received was not great either. I visit this location very often and have had good experiences in the past. However, with how things went, and the fact I practically threw away $55, I can’t bring myself to support a business who treats their customers like...
