Our visit to Claw was a mixed experience, marked by both highs and lows. While there were some commendable aspects, several factors contributed to an overall uneasy atmosphere. One of the main issues was the slow service. Despite not being overly busy, the wait time for our meal was longer than expected, which was frustrating and set a negative tone for the evening. When the food did arrive, we found that the snow crabs were overcooked, making them tough and difficult to enjoy. However, Claw did have its redeeming qualities. The hush puppies were excellent—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delightful flavor that made them a standout. Additionally, the kid-friendly menu was a pleasant surprise, offering a variety of options that appealed to our little ones. The flavors of the seafood boil were also noteworthy. The seasoning was well-balanced, with a robust blend of spices that elevated the dish. Despite the overcooked snow crabs, the other components of the boil were cooked nicely and flavorful. In summary, Claw had its strengths, particularly with its hush puppies, kid-friendly offerings, and the flavorful seafood boil. However, the slow service and the overcooked snow crabs contributed to an uneasy atmosphere that detracted from the overall dining experience.

The portions are enormous!! Good place to sit and watch a game on many of their tvs scattered around their establishment. The gator bites for the appetizer was a great start. They were very meaty and very flavorful. I genuinely always select gator bites when they are available on a menu and typically get disappointed, these do not do that at all. I then moved on to the overflowing basket of catfish and Cajun fries. Catfish, hot, cooked very well, just a little bland, needed a little help from my friend Tabasco. The “Cajun fries” you pay extra for was a little dash on top of your fries of their seasoning. It would be better if they had hit the spices in a large bowl and tossed the spices all over the fries then send out. Whiting and onion rings were hot, little under seasoned, but tasted good. The onion rings needed to be broken up during the frying process as they came out in a large clump. The one extremely total negative was the coleslaw. That was not good. It was missing the vinegar and sugar that is supposed to go in slaw, it was all Mayo and was very off putting. Overall, this was a good experience and I will return for another visit.

The petty manager came to the bar where I was sitting and told me to turn my cell phone off. I was watching Facebook videos and she felt like it was too loud and I was disturbing other customers. Mind you , there was hardly anybody in the building at 3pm in the afternoon, and the 4 people behind me said it was not loud enough to disturb their lunch. This was just another example of small businesses trying over police their patrons.. I gave the server a tip of zero dollars and zero cents. It was totally unnecessary to come to the bar and harass me over a cell phone, when their own music was very loud and ridiculous. Nobody could even hardly hear my phone. The food is already overpriced and it was not that good. I do not recommend this place until the petty manager is replaced. Learn how to appreciate good paying customers and leave them alone.

My family along with myself first time at King Claw, I brought my children along with me we had a party of 5. The place was clean in the dining area. When we walked in they weren’t busy at all. There was hardly no one there. We stood at the front where the host suppose to greet you and he appeared from out the cut by the entrance 5 minutes later. He sat us down handed us the menu. As we sat, 3 minutes later our waitress came over to the table named Zareea. Right off point, I noticed that Zareea attitude wasn’t cooked up to show professionalism. The way she talked, the way she walked off, placed our drinks on the table by sitting them down hard in styrofoam cups one of the drinks almost tipped over and waste. When she took our order for our food she didn’t write anything down at all. So my oldest son he wanted the captain boil but it came with shrimps and he doesn’t like shrimps so I asked her if he could sub before I can get it out she cut me off but was helpful with he can build his own. So I told her to give him 2 clusters 1/2 pound crawfish Susage corn and potatoes ( when his food came out nothing that I told her was correct) he received 1 cluster 5 crawfish and that was it. My second son he order the bayou boil which his order was correct along with mild lemon pepper seasoning, my daughter she had the fried cat fish basket that was listed on the menu for $10. Her food was under season I mean fish was bland as hell she even tried to squeeze the lemon on it and it didn’t do any justice at all. Fries didn’t have any seasoning either they were plain. Now my food I had the Royal boil that came with 2 clusters, 1/2 pound shrimp, 1/2 pound crawfish, potato’s, 2 corns and Susage not to mention on the menu it says the Royal boil comes with a cheese cake as well. I got the spicy lemon pepper and guess what no lemon pepper. I asked her I said I don’t see the lemon pepper seasoning all I see is the sauce that was hot. Zareea proceeded to tell me with an attitude “the seasoning is mixed in the sauce” there were no signs of the seasonings at all because lemon pepper have black pepper in there so I would have saw if the seasonings was in there even if it was mixed. So I asked Zareea for some lemon pepper and she told me rudely it’ll be an extra $1.50 and then rolled her eyes and walked off. I never received my cheese cake at all. Once I got my bill I asked Zareea why was I charged for the fried cat fish when the menu said it was $10 and she informed me that it was for lunch special only Monday-Friday.

Bathrooms- Women bathroom was clean but could have used a little touching up. Men bathroom both my son’s refused to use it because it was filthy! They said it was toilet paper everywhere, it smelled like urine etc. this was all said after 4:00 pm which is when they were suppose to clean the bathrooms again. My sons went to the restroom at 4:34 pm and reported that it was nasty in there and they refuse to use it. Mind you THEY WEREN'T BUSY AT ALL.

I will never bring my family back to this restaurant ever again. Food lacked seasoning , waitress had an attitude ( I even asked her if she was having a good day and if she was okay because her vibe was off with my table), food wasn’t correct. Oh and it took them a very very very long time to give me a booster seat for my 3 year old. The dude was the greeter never came back with a booster it took another waitress to bring a booster after I informed Zareea that I needed a booster and not a high chair she gave attitude again saying she have to go get it from another side and to give her time. I didn’t catch her name so I can’t thank her enough!! Also when I questioned about my bill to Zareea she got a full blown attitude reading my receipt loud as she could when I’m literally sitting right next to where she was seated. Never again at King Claw and everybody that I know including my family will be told and read my review as to my experience...

This is not my first time eating at this restaurant, but will definitely be the last. The management of the multiple King Claw restaurants I’ve visited has been nothing short of a joke. We were told we would have a 35 min wait for our party of 8. This is completely understandable as it was a Saturday evening, so we put our name down and proceeded to wait. Favorites are definitely chosen as parties greater or equal to us were seated within 5-10 minutes as we waited patiently. This was at 7:21 and at 8:15 we are finally seated, ok. 15 minutes later we finally meet our waitress who takes out drink orders and another 15 minutes later we get our drinks… cool. We finally get the chance to order our dinner and wait for it to come out. The food was decent but for the price they charge for crab legs I atleast expect some meat in them. 2 clusters of snow crab ($34) yielded less than 1 cluster I’ve had anywhere else. This place serves spicy-esque food items. That’s awesome until you have to request a refill 3+ times over the course of 30+ minutes before the waitress finally brings them out. Wait, wait, wait must be the motto here. After another 30 minutes of not seeing out server at all I proceed to go use the restroom only to pass by our waitress sitting at a table playing on her phone eating a fruit assortment. I proceed to ask for our bill and finally receive it. Be prepared for them to try and force an 18% tip on every bill if you have 5 or more people eating together. This is to guarantee if you have enough people to spend $300-$400 dollars in one sitting you will experience terrible service and still have to tip. The manager acted as if it was the largest inconvenience for me to speak with her in regard to a forced tip amount of $60 across 3 separate bills, then proceeds to only remove the “mandatory” tip from only 1/3 tickets. I cannot discourage anyone enough to not waste your time and money at any of these locations. All in all we spent almost 3 hours and close to $400 on one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Save it and go somewhere decent if you aren’t a “loved regular” PS: Remember what you ordered because you’ll have to make multiple requests to receive all of your food. PPS: Management is likely to respond with the same generic response given to all poor reviews i.e. “sorry about the bad experience, we value your opinion and hope you give us another...

I ordered a meal with crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, a lobster tail, and corn on the cob. I could not eat about half of the food because the waitress gave me only a plastic fork. You just cant eat shelled seafood with a plastic fork. There were no metal utensils or a cracker for the crab. Additionally, the waitress practically hid a bib and gloves from me - she simply laid down sonething that i thought was a napkin; no description or explanation. After i stained my clothes trying to crack the lobster tail and crab legs with my bare hands, i finally realized that the tightly wound thing on the table was not a napkin, it was a bib. My shirt shirt and shorts were ruined. I went to this restaurant on a work trip, and i could not treat those clothes. I had to plead with the waitress for a cracker for the crab and lobster. It took her more than 5 minutes to find one for me. She made me feel as if i was one of very few people who had ever asked her for a cracker...for hard shell seafood. By the end of the meal, i could not eat half of my food. The plastic fork could not penetrate the shelled fish, as expected. i ended up with cuts on fingers, my shirt and shorts were ruined, and i went to bed hungry tjat night, since i was alotted a limited amount of money for daily meals through work. I had spent my whole per diem there, because i wanted a special meal. However, all i was given was punishment. The waitress who served me had no care for my obvious struggles. Additionally, when i tried to clean myself in the restroom after eating what i could, the restroom was filthy. The was a roll of wet paper towels on the counter between the sinks, so i couldnt dry my hands. The alternative was to use the Dyson air dryer, which is near impossible, because you have to precision guide your hands through a wind tunnel, which, at this restaurant, was crusted in filth.

I submitted a complaint to them about this ecperience, and they have...
