Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Georgia

My daughter and I went here recently and witnessed something very disturbing. 8-10 members not to mention a Pastor from a local church were conducting some sort of ceremony. This included very loud crying, screaming and speaking in tongues from several people standing and sitting in this group. Children and their families were walking in and out, many of them obviously upset and confused by what was going on including the staff. The MANAGER would not address the issue, hiding in the back the entire time. I attempted to approach the group and was waved off. I sat, refusing to leave and watched in disbelief as they continued screaming and crying during some sort of prayer service, again, while also speaking in tongues. They left a little while later, offered no apologies or explanations and seemed unconcerned with anyone else but themselves. I am all about religious freedom but this crossed the line and if this is how Cold Stone handles these type of situations we will not be going back, no matter how good their ice cream...

I love Cold Stone ice cream and I’m so excited this location opened! However, the staff is made up of young kids serving ice cream that doesn’t even fill the container. I’ve been here 5 times already and each time it’s the same. Today I ordered a “like it” and the ice cream that was put into the container had empty spaces around it (just like an earlier reviewer showing the ice cream she received in a quart) and didn’t even reach the top. I had to kindly ask for more as we’re paying $6 for a half-filled container. I feel once they get the portion sizes down, this will be a great location! Going forward, I’ll be showing the staff the pictures on the Cold Stone website for portion size...

So nice, the best Cold Stone I have been to in over 15 years, honestly! The crew was so nice and so patient. Store is very clean and updated. Cakes are stocked. The owner makes a point to engage with EVERY customer. It smells so good in here, all you can smell is the fresh waffle cones being made.. It’s not even a busy time and they have waffles coming out fresh. They were nice and offered to put my ice cream in the freezer while my kids were taking their time enjoying getting to create their treats lol. We will be back!
