Dragon 168 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Marietta

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant for over 10 years. I don't know if it's changed hands. Whoever is there now is beyond rude and cares nothing for the customer at all. I ordered $53 worth of food last night, I made it clear I do not want MSG in my food! The spring rolls tasted rotten, like rancid grease, the egg rolls had so much salt you couldn't even eat them, and the crab rangoon was soggy and chewy, not crunchy. The chicken fried rice was Bland other than loads of Salt! When I called today to speak to the manager to tell him about my bad experience, he laughed at me. I asked him do you think this is funny? His exact words were it's funny to me, not to you. He said, what do you want, you want more food or you want your money back? I would have settled for him to remake my food, since I've been going there for years and never had an issue. However, now having an issue, and seeing how they treat their long-time customers, I'm not eating there ever again! I asked for my money back he told me to bring back all the food in order to get my money back. We had already put the food on everybody's plate and when it tasted bad, we threw it away. I'm not going in the garbage unless he wants me to bring him my garbage bag, which he denied. I wouldn't waste your hard earned money with these people they obviously do not appreciate their long-term customers or any of their customers for that matter, they think we are a joke. My suggestion is to find a restaurant that actually cares about the customer and how the food is prepared making sure to follow the customers requests especially for health reasons. Don't waste your hard-earned money they don't appreciate it nor do they care if you're satisfied or not! After seeing other reviews of people finding roaches in their food, and the quality that they've received it's obvious this place should have the health department come and inspect them thoroughly! When they're least expecting them and should not be in business! The customer is not appreciated at this place of business. Hey the folks , ever since the original owners have left and went back to NYC close to a year now and sold the business the new owners have KILLED the business and the flavor of the food . They tried to create their own flavor and destroyed what was working for so long. I understand change but what they did goes way beyond that. I will never buy from there ever again and never recommend them. Choose some where else believe me . Stay away or they need to listen to their customers and go back to the old way of cooking and preparing...

I’ve been searching for a good Chinese place for FOREVER. I never make reviews but I had to for this place. This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in the area. It’s a ma and pop type of place, so you know it’s good. The egg drop soup reminds me of how my mom made it growing up! Their Mai Fun is also amazing… & They we’re super COVID safe!
