Update 10/28/25 Rating updated. This place has really turned around with a new management team. The problem with the wait at the counter appears to have been addressed: there is a BIG improvement. Friendlier, more personable service: it's like the employees actually like their job now. The accuracy of the orders seems to be better, but there is still room for improvement. Not as big a deal for dine-in customers, but a real headache for drive-thru.
Food is consistently good and at a good price. Cant beat the value. Probably 4.5, but portions on sides can be REALLY small depending on who's preparing them. Milkshakes are really thick: you'll either need a spoon or wait a long for them to warm up. Service is a big problem here. 1/2 the counter employees are quite good. The other half can't be bothered. Be prepared for "The Gen Z Stare" at the counter. You will likely spend an extraordinary amount of time at the counter being ignored. Usually, the person working the counter is in the back helping the kitchen. There's no way for them to see you waiting...and waiting...and waiting...at the counter, either to place your order or to get orders corrected or to get refills on drinks. You WILL stand and wait. Your best bet is to stand to the far right of the counter so the kitchen employees can see you. Having said that, about 4 or 5 employees will just look at you and totally ignore you--they can't be bothered. Two easy solutions--either a camera in the back showing a customer is waiting, or a simple holler of "Counter!" by the BOH employees would easily address that. These easy solutions to a consistent problem will not be applied. Don't even bother to suggest them. One trick I've learned is to open and close the entry door a couple of times: This will ring a bell alerting the kitchen that a customer has arrived. It's usually the only way to get the counter employee to come to the front. It's shocking how many orders go out incorrect or switched. I've never seen anything like it. Especially frustrating for drive-thru customers who end up driving away with an incorrect order! The system is not to blame: it's very straightforward. This is simply human error. Either they're too busy, or it's just not a priority. MAJOR problem here, and I've seen many customers either complain or walk away dissatisfied. Atmosphere is ok, if you like the same country songs playing over and over without a change. They could at least put in a new track every once in a while. The acoustics of the space amplifies the normal ambient sound to almost unbearable. Combine that with the ubiquitous ANTI-SOCIAL LOUD TALKERS and CLUELESS, INCONSIDERATE TOOLS (often employees on break) who play their devices too loud, and it quickly becomes akin to chaos and mayhem. Parking is good. It's nice to have a place to wash your hands and a supply of paper towels. Seating is adequate.
Overall: good-tasting food at a good price. Most of the problems are easily addressed but are waiting for management and corporate to apply easy, sensible solutions. The fact that they don't, or won't, is...
Read moreFast food. Very good prices. Efficient service. I have been to several locations and service doesn't vary much. This review is not for a particular location. Most times I have had pleasant experiences. I think only 1 time was the person taking the order had a funky attitude. But everybody has a bad day ,maybe that was hers.
Food....large assortment of food choices. Same on beverages. Soda fountain options and large list of milkshakes. I have eaten these things among my stops: Hamburger, fries, onion rings, pork sandwich, chicken sandwich, ice cream float and several different flavors of their milkshakes.
Hidden gem: pork sandwich. Tastes like the barbecue sandwiches you get in North Carolina. Vinegar based with coleslaw. Delicious. Hard to find outside of that type of barbecue region.
Before pandemic and a Dr's report....I use to binge on their burgers cause they made them how I like them with grilled onions, pickle and lettuce and tomato. Now as a form of transparency, I loved these burgers but people I know say they are too greasy for them. The burgers are juicy and flavorful although they are not big ounce wise.
French fries I found always hot and crispy not limp.
Like the milkshakes. I try flavors that I know I will like haven't tried outside.my comfort zone. So anything with chocolate, banana or, vanilla in it I will try. Like the float.
Pricing: Very reasonable for what you get. Business: Consistent taste and quality from location to location. Only variable are the order takers. But I have found most to be nice.
Imterior: I mostly go through drive through. I have eaten inside several different locations and did not like it. Inside too dark and dreary. Even when sunny out! Not sure how this decor choice passed through corporate. Must not have consulted a designer in the food industry. It is certainly not the atmosphere I like eating my food in. I'd rather eat in my car.
Parking...sufficient
Overall: I like for fast food...
Read moreI wish I could give it all five stars, but I can't. Not today. Very disappointed in the service and the atmosphere. The young lady taking our order was very nice, but she was too busy with another employee who was getting his lunch together than to listen to our order and make sure she had it down as we ordered it. I ordered hush puppies that she didn't put into the register because she stopped to talk to him. She even turned back to me and asked that I wanted hush puppies to which I stated, yes, please. My husband asked for no mustard on his burger, yet when it came out, it had mustard on it. Good thing he actually likes mustard. The music was so loud I'm surprised that she could hear his order at all. I like loud music, however, not when I'm in a setting to where my food order can't be heard. So, she had two factors that kept her from taking care of us properly. We weren't the only ones. She did the same to the folks behind us. Since I didn't get my hush puppies, I went back and ordered them once again from the young man who was now on the register. I kept thinking, please bring her back. He acted like he was doing me a favor to even be standing there. Well, hello!! I am the one at that direct time helping to pay your salary!! If I and others didn't come to this establishment that you are working at, you wouldn't have a job to bring home your paycheck! And with the attitude that you still had when I came to get a refill, I'm surprised you do have this job. We left there less than satisfied after driving from Douglasville to there. We have had better service before and I know it can be...
