Domino’s is a good pizza restaurant for anyone who wants fast service and hot pizza. Although their prices are slightly higher than the surrounding pizza chains, what you get is well worth the extra money spent. In general, Domino’s is a great, fast pizza restaurant to order from because of their menu options, customer service policies, and staff.
I have been ordering from this Domino’s location since they opened and have never had an experience that turned me away from them. They always follow instructions and are quick to deliver my pizza. The few times that I have ordered for pick up, the times are even shorter to get my food because I’m the one going to get it, and when I get to the store, my food is always ready. I have never had to wait in store.
Their menu includes not only pizza, but they have other main and side dishes. I have not tried all of them, but their cheese bread and desserts have always been wonderful when I have gotten them in the past. They always have good coupons for multiple pizza deals and side dishes, and if you are carrying out, the deals are even better than delivery.
The customer service at this store is a little spotty. Most of the time, when I have a complaint or a question, the workers do everything that they are able to do to keep me satisfied with my order. However, some of the younger, newer workers are rude or just not trained on how to please the customer when they have an issue. Recently, I called about an issue with my order and instead of offering to help, I was told that they did not have any other complaints about my issue and that they could not do anything. I called back later, still unhappy, and a different worker picked up the phone. She was more than willing to help me. So, the service is a hit or miss depending on who is working.
The staff who delivers the pizza are almost always polite and make small talk when delivering your pizza. They always follow delivery instructions and I do not feel rushed if I do not have the money ready or if I am checking my order. This being said, I have had a few employees who have taken a long time to get from the store to my house and do not appear to know or care that I was under the impression that my pizza was on the way. It can be quite frustrating when you are expecting something and don’t receive it in the time frame that you were given.
I recently had an experience in which I ordered the same pizzas that I normally do for my family, and when I received them nothing seemed off until I went in for a bite and I caught a whiff of something quite gross. There was definitely something off about the pizza. I could not pinpoint what it was to make a complaint, but I could not stomach the smell. When I called to complain, I was greeted with the dismissal of my issue. I was about to drive to the store for them to take a smell, but instead I filed a complaint online and went to get pizza from another store close by.
In conclusion, aside from the few mishaps or late pizzas I have had, this Domino’s is still one of the best locations that I have ordered from, and I will continue to order food from here. Even with the slightly more expensive menu options, the food is higher quality here than at other pizza places. Read moreOn 6/12/20 approximately 7:00pm I ordered 2 medium pizza and a Philly cheesesteak. Not only did they take out for delivery charge I also tipped 20%. I waited and waited.....nothing. I call Dacula Domino’s and no answer. By now it was around 8:15pm. I called Domino’s waited and waited forever finally a girl picks up. I asked where my pizzas and Philly sandwich was and she said she showed it had already been delivered. By now it was 9:00pm! I told her no it had not been delivered and I opened the front door and there sat my order. It had been sitting on my doorstep for over an hour 1/2! The driver did not ring my doorbell or knock on my door. We have wild cats roaming the neighborhood so to say the least all of the food was thrown away. The girl on the phone was apologetic and said she could give me a credit or she could reorder but it would be around 10:30 or 11 pm before it was delivered. I told her absolutely not! I called back 2 weeks later to get my food and Shawn (manager on duty) answered the phone. I told him the situation and all he said the whole time we were on the phone was “It is company policy that credits have to be picked up! I said WHAT??? I paid double to that driver and your telling me I have to come and pick it up? He said again it’s company policy. I have yet to get what I paid for and I am extremely upset. Read moreWe opted for Online order, take out, I had to go in a different car, so as soon as we got there, I let an employee know that we were in a different car. We waited 15 minutes for our order to come out, I checked each person who came out with an order, and never saw a medium pizza box. I went in to see what was going on and ran into a very nasty tempered employee. When I explained that I had told a man that we were in a different car, he/ she yelled at me and said well he isn't even here any more. When that same nasty tempered employee walked out to our car, they didn't even know what our order was although I had explained . I asked that employee if they could look at our order that we had placed online and that person yelled back at me, you have a receipt, why don't you just look at it. I explained that we had spoken to an employee about being in a different car. They yelled at me when I asked about the guarantee about bringing it out curbside. Of course, I got yelled at again. Then when we started to drive off I checked what was inside the pizza box and there were items missing. It is important to note that there was a 9 year old and 5 year old child in the car listening to that employee scream at me. The looks on the children's faces, on top of everything else, would make me come to the decision that I would never go back to that Domino's again....
