11 reviews 1.0 star rating 8/15/2017 I will NEVER be back here. I will start by saying that I've been here on many occasions and enjoyed the food. It's standard bar fare, but the wings are pretty good and the drinks are of a great variety and well made. However, Tuesday night has become somewhat of a MESS there. It is extremely overcrowded and the management has not put in place the proper staff to accommodate the crowd. I went this past Tuesday and stood at the bar for approximately 45 minutes trying to order a drink and wings. A waiter and a waitress both said that they would come and help me, but both ignored me (and my friend that was also trying to order). We saw them pass us countless times (while we tried to get their attention to no avail) and take others orders (several who we saw approach the bar after us). After many attempts we saw a somewhat large gentleman come from the back that seemed to be a manager. We got his attention (after a few attempts). He indicated that he was "one of the managers" and we proceeded to share our complaint. He brought the waiter over he became belligerent stating that he had never promised to help us but that the other young lady would. I told him that I specifically heard him say, "I got you" but then never returned. He got loud and in the midst of this the "manager" walked away, without ensuring that the situation had been handled. We were left there, standing at the bar, still no food or drinks and no resolution to our situation. My friend found the manager before we left to try to see why he left and why he didn't care to resolve our issues. He just kept putting the blame on us for waiting 45 minutes (like we wanted to), and said how did we know he didn't care (clearly he didn't for walking away). After my friend stated he wasn't coming back, he said "well don't". This was the utmost disrespect and a horrible way to treat paying customers. Unfortunately this has soured my entire experience and I will never return to this...
Read moreWent to check out this location with some classmates after a heavy nursing school exam. Myself, a classmate and the waitress from this locations vehicles were broken into right in front of the big glass window. When asked if cameras outside were recording we were told that even though they were close to the window they face into the restaurant not out. Don’t go here if you want to not have your car broken into. Manager on duty was not providing any support or information to help us catch the thief’s. One employee was outside with an unknown partner both wearing vla k goodies with white wrong on them. They began snickering and pointing when we came out. Once I started telling the 911 operator their description one can closer to listen to the convo while the other got in a grey Chevy Malibu and drove off. He then proceeded to ask “is something wrong?” Then he goes back inside his workplace and begins texting and calling for 45min- an 1 hour. We are all females and not one male came out to make sure we were okay. The manager peeps out the door and snaps a picture so we confront him about the lack of concern considering we had just came in asking for assistance! The outside parking lot security claims to have just came on shift at 11 and didn’t see any of the broken glass or windows blown even though it was right there when you drove past the vehicles. Police took 2 hours or more to arrive. And said they would assign a detective. We informed them that we went to the stores that my cards were being used at. Shell, BP, Del Taco, Texaco all ok Lavista and showed receipt proof and written description from the workers or manager and they told me the detective would see about it. My doors were locked and they chose tinted windows vehicles. BE CAREFUL you might end up spending more than what you planned or losing more than what you thought patronizing...
Read moreOnce I finally found a server, I felt better. She was really nice and my order was correct. The wait wasn't bad, considered the place was literally packed like a can of sardines, so the servers and bar tenders didn't seem to get a moment's rest. Actually, it was standing room only, we were packed more like Vienna sausages.
It was incredibly loud, and of the three screens showing the fight, unless you're well over 6 ft like me, you might not have even able to see much aside from the projection screen that was up high. The smaller TVs were below eye level (not sure whose idea that was), so unless you were near the doors where I was, in the hookah lounge, you wouldn't be seeing the fight. The hookah tables really aren't the greatest place to eat, but there was nowhere else. The tables inside the restaurant area were all filled, and nobody was about to give those up.
At least the fight was pretty good, but the cover charge of $20, plus the $22 for 6 wings, fries, and a drink (Incredible Hulk) didn't seem worth the cost to stand for 2 hours in a space where I could barely move my arms, constantly having to step aside so people could pass by. I'm glad there wasn't a fire, because my first thought was that people would act stupid and trample each other to death trying to get out of that jam packed establishment. They really should have limited the attendance to less than 50% of the turnout that night. My first indication should have been obvious when I had to park literally two blocks away, that it was gonna be way overcrowded, but I won't knock their hustle bc they probably made 6 figs that night, assuming everybody ate or drank anything.
I'd consider going back, but definitely not on a huge fight night like that. The overcrowding definiteky ruined the experience for me, a person who very rarely goes out to socialize, maybe once a year...
