Grandmas NY Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

This was my first time visiting. They have a lot of pizza options, but the slices available at dinner time were limited. They have 3 indoor tables with bench seating (no backs) and a few outside tables. There are no wait staff, you order at the counter. They offer Coke products on fountain with free refills.

The pizza was thin, and floppy (like a NY style should be). The sauce was not too sweet and not too acidic. The cheese was just the right amount for my liking and the pepperoni was mildly spicy.

A large pepperoni pizza was $17.49 (for the Neapolitan, cheese) plus another $2.99 for the pepperoni. They do have a loyalty program upon checking out. Not bad, slices are extremely small for the price though,seven dollars out the door for two slices they definitely need to up the size of the slice at that price. Girl working the front desk had zero customer relationship skills, didn’t smile and would barely even talk to where you could hear her. I had to ask multiple times for her to repeat herself, as I sat there and ate my pizza slices other people came in and had the same problem…. We tried this place with high expectations. I haven’t had a great NY style pizza in this area yet… and we have tried a bunch that advertise as such. I ordered a 14” Neopolitan with extra cheese. The only thing that disappointed us was the fact I didn’t order a bigger pie. When I picked it up it was fresh and piping hot. I sprinkled some Parmesan I saw on the tables and headed for the car.
