I am absolutely furious about the deplorable experience I had at this location of Popeyes. Their drive-through service was a complete disaster, filled with an utter lack of respect, unprofessional behavior, and mind-numbing incompetence. Brace yourself for the infuriating details of this appalling ordeal.
From the moment I approached the drive-through intercom, it became clear that the server had no interest in providing even a semblance of decent customer service. Rather than trying to understand my order, they chose to pretend not to understand me, forcing me to repeat my order multiple times. It was a blatant act of disrespect, designed to frustrate and belittle me as a paying customer.
But the server's condescending act didn't stop there. After making me jump through hoops, repeating myself like a broken record, they suddenly acted as if a lightbulb went off in their head, exclaiming, "Oh, you ordered this!" with a patronizing tone. The sheer audacity and insincerity displayed during this interaction were nothing short of infuriating.
To compound the insult, my order was still not handled properly despite their belated comprehension. Mistakes were made, items were missing, and the overall experience was an exercise in sheer frustration. It is mind-boggling how a supposedly reputable fast-food chain like Popeyes could exhibit such an astonishing level of incompetence and disregard for their customers.
Popeyes, let me make one thing abundantly clear: I expect to be treated with respect and efficiency when I patronize your establishment. Your server's deliberate ignorance and dismissive attitude were nothing short of an insult to my intelligence. It is completely unacceptable to subject customers to such disrespectful behavior.
Moreover, the lack of attention to detail and failure to get the order right is simply inexcusable. If Popeyes cannot even handle the most basic task of accurately fulfilling a customer's order, then what faith can we have in the quality of the food being served?
This scathing review serves as a stern warning to all potential patrons: Popeyes has demonstrated an appalling lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. Until they address and rectify these glaring issues, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere. There are countless other fast-food chains that value their customers and strive to provide a pleasant dining experience.
Popeyes, your dismissive attitude and incompetence have cost you not only my patronage but also my respect. I will actively discourage everyone I know from subjecting themselves to your abysmal service. It is high time you reevaluate your practices and commit to providing the level of service that...
Read morePopeye's is my favorite fried chicken and I've been eating at Popeye's for over 40 years, with the first time being in New Orleans in the 1980's. So I was very excited when a new Popeye's was built and opened nearby; a couple years ago during Covid. Unfortunately, it didn't start very strong and has continued to decline over the last couple years. So much so, that I haven't even been to that location in months.
I decided to give this location another try last week and to my surprise, it was the Popeye's of old. No, not the old one that opened a couple years ago. It was just like the Popeye's that we all know and love from years and decades ago!!!.
I've stopped by three times in the last two weeks and each time, the food was hot and most importantly fresh! The quality of the food was amazing!!! And the location had at least 4-5 employees; each time I stopped by - which is a big change because it's been significantly understaffed since opening. And the service was very fast and very friendly!
I don't know if this is a reflection of new ownership, new management, a fully engaged staff; or all of the above - but I'm glad to see it and the turnaround is nothing short of miraculous! Kudos to the management and to the employees who are doing an excellent job!
We've all had a lot to say when things were bad. Now it's time for everyone to give this Popeye's another shot and give them some business and good reviews, so that this Popeye's will become and stay; the destination stop for Louisiana Fried Chicken that we'd all hoped it would be when it opened. I'm proud to say that's I'm loving that chicken at...
Read moreLet this be a lesson to everybody who knows of Popeyes establishment this is a new marketing trick they do where they rotate weeks or days where they have their actual promotional item in stock they turn it on and off like a light switch even though it's still advertised on their signs this is what their management does to get people in there to buy other things because their promotional items aren't available I've been to three different Popeyes chickens establishments in the last 3 months trying to get their ghost pepper wings which I was successfully given in an order that I did at the Snellville location. The one on Buford Drive in Buford and this location on about five different attempts we're out of the ghost pepper wings every time, keep in mind the sign is right on their window advertising their promotion. I truly think this is a scam method to get people to come in the door and hope they're okay ordering something else. I can say this for certain to give you an idea about how bad management is look at how they don't reply to any of the complaints or concerns. This is a company that just does not care and they are not worthy of our business when there are other good chicken places that want our business. The only reason they've lasted as long as they have are because a lot of Popeyes chicken restaurants are in smaller towns that have no other options I truly think that's the only way they could survive everything including...
