Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

First, so you understand where I am coming from, let me describe to you how much I love the Jet's 10 with Turbo Crust, square pan deep dish pizza. I have eaten probably 100, and I think that Jet's makes the best pizza in the whole world.

That being said, I am dying (nearly) of food poisoning right now, and can barely walk. All I ate yesterday, was the pizza, around noon. I drank bottled refreshment. I ate nothing else. This is the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had in my life, and as a foodie, this happens more than it should. This was, quite possibly, my favorite thing to eat in a whole 50 mile radius from my house. I don't think I can ever eat here again.

I called the store, and spoke with the manager. First, he tried to tell me that it was after his shift. Don't care. Then he tried to argue with me about how maybe it was the flu that is going around. Nope, I know very clearly what food poisoning feels like, and the fact that I was up ever hour all night long speaks to this. It started to affect me just hours after eating from the pizza. I basically had to argue with him, and received not one condolence, apology, or well wishes. I wasn't calling to ask for anything, just to inform them. Edited to update this review 8 (?) months later. The restaurant has a new hands-on owner. My experience is that all of last Summer's problems are in the past for this location.

Ordered a pizza for pick-up on Wednesday evening. Dropped by at 6:15 to get the pizza and an employee was leaning on the cash register playing on her phone, busily ignoring everyone in the waiting area. Even though I was in her field of view, she didn't even look up for the several seconds I stood right in front of her, leaning on the counter. I finally said "excuse me, I think that pizza back there belongs to me". No eye contact, but she did hand me the pizza. Never even said "Hi. So sorry" or anything. Funny enough, I could have been a rando off the street. She didn't even ask for a name.

Mgt probably needs to have a little talk with some folks about customer service. It hasn't always been this bad, but over the last 6 weeks or so I've been in there 3 times and the front counter service has been...

DETROIT STYLE PIZZA DONE RIGHT! Crispy cheese edges, pillowy soft and light, airy crust! Just how it should be. Sauce is FLAVORFUL! Also you can tell the dough is made fresh.

Don’t forget to add the crust toppings!! If you’re new to Jet’s start with the Turbo crust. If you’ve been around the block, be brave and try the Cajun already!

Also best RANCH hands down, even gives wingstop ranch a run for its money.

Take a break from giving the “fast food” pizza places your money for carboard dough shipped frozen from a warehouse and get an “8-corner” Detroit style pizza from Jets.

Be a bit patient, thick crust pizza doesn’t cook as fast as your thin takeout pies so factor in some time for that and know it’s worth the wait.

Got the chance to talk with the owner, him and his crew take pride in what they are doing!
