I should’ve just gone to Wendy’s or Subway like I originally planned. For almost 10 years I used to come here every week for lunch with my coworkers when I lived nearby, and I always loved the shrimp fried rice. I’m in town and saw they were still open, so I stopped in and sat down by myself. It’s still nice inside, and I genuinely wanted the full experience.
But the food and service were nothing like I remembered. The shrimp spring rolls were crispy outside but cold in the middle—which is never okay, especially with seafood. I quietly apologized and sent them back. The pad Thai wasn’t any better—the sauce was way too strong, the shrimp were tough (I couldn’t even cut them with a fork), and they had a fishy oceany taste that made them hard to eat.
When I politely asked about switching to shrimp fried rice, the owner got defensive right away. She tapped her chest like “I’d be the one paying for that” and told me I could just take the pad Thai home. I had agreed to the charge at first, but her attitude changed the whole vibe, so I told her to just bring the check.
She later brought egg fried rice to try and make up for it, but that wasn’t good either and the damage was done. She tried to flip back to being nice but it wasn’t genuine.
I stayed kind through the whole thing and still tipped generously—almost as much as the shrimp fried rice would’ve cost. But I left feeling disrespected and honestly, kind of sad. Bad food. Bad attitude. Im never coming back here. Subway staff...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would! When I tried this place I was new to the area and I wanted to give this place a try. I placed an order for delivery and I waited about an hour for my food to arrive (When I lived down the street). I honestly didn't mind the wait, I'm a patient person, no biggie. I also know that's about average time for delivery at least in my experience. Tell me why there was a hair in my food? Not just placed on my food or mixed with the sauce, but literally in the batter of my orange chicken! I'm telling you. That hair, is in it. My husband was not happy to put it nicely. So I called and asked for a refund. Do you know what trouble i had to go through just to get part of my money back?! As a food service provider that made a terrible mistake, you should refund the entire order. Do you think my husband wanted to finish eating his food after seeing mine? NOPE. The only solution they had for/wanted to give me was to cancel my order, and then redo the order without my meal but still charged me for everything else. I took pictures and a video for evidence in case they asked for it, but they didn't. Then they wanted to give me a fresh order of my plate I advised them not to waist their time It was such a hassle, and we lost our appetite. It was my first and last time...

If you are looking for good sushi, you will have better luck with the Kroger, across the street; and for better Chinese food, go to Panda Express or the Kroger across the street. We just moved to the area and looking for a good spot for sushi and Chinese food. Being less than a mile from the Great Wall, we wanted to give it a shot. We got there at 8:45ish pm and ordered appetizers (egg rolls and lettuce wraps), which were actually really good, and our sushi, all around 9. The sushi arrive after 9:50, when I asked for our check. I explained that we have been waiting for our food and two separate parties that arrive after us have already gotten there food. After I said that, 3 different people on staff kept trying to convince me that it was an appetizer. But per their own menu, multiple plates of sushi are not appetizers. A few minutes later our food arrived. I ordered a Hurricane tempura roll and spicy salmon roll. The tempura roll was burnt and hard as a brick; the spicy salmon was straight mush and looked like cheap imitation salmon with a lot of greasy spicy mayo (see photos). I would not recommend this place for anyone. We for sure, will not be returning. Please...
