Food is really good! Customer service is soooo bad. I’ve been 3 times and had a bad experience each time. They just randomly say yes to everything even when you ask a question. It’s like that can’t understand you and choose to just say yes. I ordered lasagna, first time. It was cold and Frozen a bit, I took it back, they heated it up and in the middle it was still rock hard ice. I took it back again the lady rolled her eyes then gave it back to me after 10 minutes and the plastic was melting she was so annoyed that she stuck it in microwave for 8 minuets and walked off. Next experience they kept laughing with their friends while talking to you to get your order. They ended up charging me for the wrong thing. 3rd time, my husband walked in after finishing work and they all just stared at him, the man would come to take his order and when my husband would say the order the man would walk away talking to other customers of his background in his language then go back to my husband and say what you need then walk away and do the exact same thing he did this 4 times. It’s like they have customer favourites. They don’t pay attention to you and are so rude, and can not even understand you so they just say yes yes. Please learn how to treat your customers. Your workers make me so...
Read moreHalf great-very good / Half not-so-great. This is a very good bakery… desserts and breads are delicious and well made. We always get the bread and rolls and the selection of tarts and other desserts are always tasty. The not-so-good: many foods are incredibly overpriced. My wife got the “To-Go Salsicha Empanada” (a corn dog) and it cost $6.00 with tax. Seriously!!? $6 for ONE very thin corn dog?? That’s a helluva mark up on purchase ingredients price vs sell price. She said the batter tasted good but the hot dog was not and it went into the garbage. I should say my wife was born and raised in Brazil, these foods are her culture and she cooks many of them at our home. Personally I stopped buying savory foods from this restaurant. As mentioned they cost waayy too much in my opinion and also they taste just okay, I greatly prefer my wife’s pastel, Coxinha and other foods she makes. These foods are great for someone who doesn’t know Brazilian food or doesn’t know how to cook them or just doesn’t want to cook them. But Five Guys restaurant foods have similar prices and to me they’re excessively over priced but yet very popular and successful, so what do I know? For me / us, we’ll 100% continue going there, but will stick to the sweets, breads and other desserts - after all it...
Read moreIt was really hard to communicate with the cashier as we asked for a misto panini that was shown on the changing screen menus above the register. I tried to point and show her what I wanted for 2 minutes and she said the ham/cream cheese/tomato was the only ham panini, I was like that's ridiculous since I see it on the menu right above my head. So I order the "only ham panini on the menu" sub the cream cheese for mozz and no tomatoes, please. It comes out with cream cheese and tomato so then I have to explain to another person what I want. My husband still ate part of the sandwich but I felt bad since I didn't want to get a free sandwich but just to get the misto panini as shown on the menu. Why have 3 versions of the menu? Online, in store, and the takeout menu that I had to almost argue with the cashier over to explain what I wanted. It was pretty obnoxious. The beef pastel was oddly flavored, I didn't realize it was filled with olives so that didn't help since that's no my jam. When I finally got the misto panini it was alright, nothing insanely great. I may go back sometime to try other options and maybe change the review, but so far not impressed, the fries were...
