Krystal — Restaurant in Georgia

I hate to give a negative review, but this Krystal is a hot mess. I have visited several times with the hopes they would redeem themselves, but it just continues to get worse. Orders are consistently wrong, i.e. no cheese on Krystals when I ordered with cheese; fries when I ordered tots; bacon only when I ordered bacon & cheese Krystals; and, lastly a 'tot mess'...all pieces of tots, most likely from the bottom of the fry bin. Drive-thru signage is actually missing from the display board, so it was assumed that I was ordering a 'sackful' when I actually said, '4 Cheese Krystal Combo'. And, it only took one time for me to order Glaze Bombs...Krystals and Tots were covered in the sugary glaze in the bag. It all culminated on my final visit where the Store Mgr was in a shouting match with the Line Cook, yelled 'I can't serve this!', then she threw the Krystal at the Cook, which landed on the grill! OMG, now I understand why my Krystals had no cheese that night...poor Cook, if it was me I would have left. Not at all like White Castle, in the North. Franchise Executives / Regional / District Staff need to actively get this store back on track. It's a shame because they are in a great location, very near to Sawnee EMC (they should be capitalizing on their lunch times), easy in / easy out, with plenty of parking. The building needs a refresh, a coat of paint would go a long way. I may stop again, but I'll have to think...

I came to this Krystal's a few times since it's the closest one to Dawsonville. The food has been typical, nothing spectacular but not bad food.

My problem was with a staff member. I had just left a friends studio so I smelled strongly of "Dro smoke" according to the lady who worked there.

At which point the lady who looked like she would have done anything for a hit of meth and was covered in tattoos, proceeded to tell me how she hated that smell and was "allergic to it" (Not even possible to be allergic to the smell, but whatever ) and that somebody else would have to bring me my food.

I worked in fast food myself, and people came in smelling like cigarette smoke which I hate, but I never said something rudely in front of them. She also seemed like a manager or supervisor which made it even more surprising.

I then heard her tell the staff in the back who was making the food that they would have to bring it out for me because of how I smelled.

To which I almost filed a discrimination lawsuit against Krystal's due to me feeling discriminated against due to my choice of herbs and the flat out disrespect but didn't want to take it that far. In the end the situation could have been handled differently, definitely by a person who seems to be a manager or supervisor meaning I'll take my Krystal's Business to Gainesville...

The employee stated they just cooked our order which was 12 Krystal's no cheese and one corn pup. She specifically stated that she gave us a 12 piece from a 24 piece order that came in on door dash. No they did not just cook the order. Half were cold and the corn pup was soggy and cold. The meat looked scary. When I mean scary it was not the color it was supposed to be. It was a gray color. The buns were wet. Even if she did give us the 12 from the 24...that means that customer received half of an old cold order while the other half is fresh? So they paid even more than I did for trash. Krystal's actually used to be decent. They should have been cooked to order. Especially when there was no other customers in the building or drive-thru. If you don't like your job or value what you do at your job, go work somewhere else. Since I was already lied to to begin with there was no point of making a fuss...
