This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I went with my daughter around 6:30-7 pm I believe. We were seated quickly, which is both nice and probably a sign that it's not that popular of a restaurant. We were seated in a booth, but my daughter got out of her seat and swapped sides with me bc the side where she first sat was a bit wonky and she sank down in the bench (she's 11 and about 60 pounds, so it was definitely a broken bench, not a weight issue). I scooted further down than she had so it was ok. We ordered quickly, as we kind of already knew what we wanted. The prices seemed abnormally high for this caliber of restaurant. My daughter got a #1 kids meal- enchilada and hard taco for $6 ish. Her sweet tea was $3.50 š¶ I ordered a steak quesadilla. Food arrived quickly and my daughter was smitten with my quesadilla and swapped plates. No big deal. The quesadilla was... weird. The cheese was almost like it had been cooked and then cooled off? Idk how to describe it. There wasn't enough cheese, it didn't stretch, and it wasn't really hot. Which was strange considering that we had only been there for maybe 10 minutes at that point. I ate my daughter's food instead. The enchilada and taco meat had very little to no seasoning. It just tasted like ground beef. The taco fell apart immediately, which I know I know, that happens with hard shell tacos but we had JUST gotten the food. The weirdest part for us though was that it felt like everyone was looking at us the whole time. Employees, other customers, you name it. I'm not one to care about that sort of thing and we definitely weren't doing anything to stand out, so it was just a really strange feeling. The cashier at check out was... short? Abrupt? Idk, borderline but not overtly rude I guess. I wouldn't go back. I've had more flavorful tacos from trucks, Taco Bell, gas stations, etc. One more thing, after we left, my daughter said that one employee told another to "go to hell." Idk about that too much, but if you're trying to avoid language like that for yourself or your children, just...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey literally charge $10 for a medium salsa that wasnāt even filled to the top ($5) and a ālargeā bag of chips ($5). This is not $10 worth of food. For $10 I could have gotten each ingredient and made a supply large enough to get the place through lunch, and or gotten an entire meal where they would have given the items for free⦠Itās literally some veggies and fried tortillas but they gotta price gouge where they can. When asking about the Prices the lady reiterated what sizes I asked for as if the sizes they gave could actually be considered a large. I have no problem paying what something is worth.
Donāt forget that if you eat inside you get endless chips and salsa for free
I specifically came here because I have a head cold and the salsa is spicy enough make my nose run. (SN: I eat takis etc so I can vouch for it) The chips arenāt fresh, crispy or hot. There more so crunchy and kinda stale.
Food is salty but decent and worth returning for, however the customer service has been subpar on several occasions. On my first visit I stood around waiting to pick up my order for 5 mins while the waiter talked to 2 guys in the waiting area. When she was finally done and stepped to the register she tried to continue their conversation and help them first despite the fact that they dined in and used theyāre time for conversation. The gentleman let me go first but I then had to stand/ sit around and wait an additional 10 mins for my food despite arriving at the time given. While I waited around her and the gentleman discussed his relationship and how marriage isnāt for some people due to the fact that he declined her request.
Mind you Iāve dealt with the same tall woman with the slick back ponytail each time.
If you enjoy dinner and a show but not service this is the...
