We have been here many times. We have a few issues with the restaurant that are making me less and less enthusiastic about it. 1) The up charges and some of the prices are too high. For example, the difference btwn salsa pulled chicken / ground beef tacos and steak or grilled chicken tacos is DOUBLE the price. The price for the guac and cheese dip is too high, a small is $6. If you ask for a small side (like a scoop), the small cup for $6 is often what you'd get. I just want a scoop of guac on my food, not a small cup.

When I get food to go, nearly every week, I have to pay an extra $1.50 for each bag of chips after the first one. I think that's ridiculous considering we order 4-5 meals, and we should be given at least a couple bags of chips. We have to pay for chips even when we spend $9 on a large queso. That's not cool.

A little more concerning - 2) the other day we went there and I got TX margarita, they were on special. I hardly tasted the alcohol, but by the time I got home, I started getting sick. I frequently drink margaritas of that size, sometimes I even drink two. This was not a normal feeling of "I drank too much." I was really sick. My husband brews beer and makes wine, so he knows a lot about alcohol. Based on what happened to me, we are suspicious that they are not using tequila in the margaritas, or at least the TX marg, they're not using extra tequila. They may be using grain alcohol, something like Everclear. We have no way of confirming this, but I'm not taking my chances again. It is extremely bad for you, 95% alcohol, and it'll knock you on your butt fast. I had never had this problem with their drinks there, and like I said, sometimes I order two margaritas. I would not order a TX margarita unless you watch the bar tender make it (even then, who knows if they've poured grain alcohol in the tequila bottle). My husband says a lot of cheap restaurants do this because most people don't notice the difference (until it's too late).

The pro's about the restaurant are the wait staff is very nice and the manager is too. The daily specials are usually priced great, and we usually get...

If this restaurant continues to hire staff that like to steal money from customers……….. I thought I’d try this restaurant. The inside was amazing, open, spacious and great decor. Everything was very clean. The menu looked awesome. I sat at a table in the bar area and the waitress came and did her job as normal at the beginning. Regardless of what I ordered, the remainder of my experience was horrible. All my waitress did was sit at a table with the remainder of the wait staff. Not once did my waitress come by to see how I was doing or if I needed anything else. When I was done all my waitress did was hand me the check and then asked me for my card to pay. I paid by cash. The waitress did not give me correct change and walked away. When confronted and I asked for the remainder of my change, the other waitstaff started to laugh at me. I had to argue and remind the staff they technically stole money from me in order to get the remainder of my change. I finally received correct change then talked to the manager who provided me a full refund of my meal and drinks. This is the only reason why I’m giving two stars. My waitstaff was Dayana and the other waitstaff is Isabelle…..I also noticed they did this to other customers they were serving during the time I was there however those customers left not very pleased so nothing could be done. I hope these two go back to the...

We’ve been coming here for a while but never had a problem but I just couldn’t sleep well for the past couple days knowing what I saw and not speaking out. A few weeks ago me and my husband came to eat and we had a blast, our waitress was incredibly sweet and nice and attended us well. But we noticed through out the night that changed, she got somewhat sad and it just broke my heart. We noticed another worker kept bothering her and saying just awfully rude things. The waitress told the man to stop but he would just laugh and kept at it. I’m sorry but as a mother of two that type of disrespect just doesn’t sit right as it bothered our waitress. Especially knowing the man was the manager, I can’t remember the name but he was wearing glasses and he would just keep going and we even felt uncomfortable for her as we understand Spanish and very much knew what he was saying….. It’s just so unprofessional for a manager to be HARRASING his own workers as she’s so sweet and nice. I’m sorry but the owners need to rethink the manager position, I’ve worked in a diner so I very much know how overlooked these things are and we know they were not just playing around as we notice how sad and bothered our waitress was. No one should get this type of treatment especially from the...

Wow, first let me start off with La Parilla is my favorite all-time Mexican restaurant. I judge all others against it. So I say this with most sincerity los Magueys is an extremely close second! Their salsa is a tomato based quite tasty.puree style salsa. Based on recommendation, we ordered their take on fajitas, which ended up being a massive pot of sizzling meat and seafood. We ended up ordering the single portion, which is enough to probably feed four people. No kidding! It came with a couple sides and extra tortillas upon request. It did not disappoint. It's nice to have another quality Mexican restaurant close by that serves things a little different than usual oh, and by the way, the atmosphere was really well done it's probably one of the best Applebee's transformations I've seen yet.

Los Maguey's (Marietta Location) food is on point! This restaurant has raised the bar on how food should taste and the wonderful feeling(s) their food gives you upon eating šŸ˜‹. The serving portions are also great. My go-to dish is the Maguey special (scrumptious). Typically, I'd order a Texas Margarita šŸ¹ (Not this visit). The atmosphere is comfortable with a slight sports bar feel. NOTE: This location is the second restaurant venue. The First restaurant location is located in Acworth, Ga. (Paulding County). In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this restaurant.

This place has DELICIOUS food. It always tastes fresh. I’ve had the tacos de carne asada in the past and today was the grilled chicken Maguey. Both phenomenal. And not to mention our waiter was absolutely amazing. I didn’t catch his name but he’s actually been our same waiter these past few times. My fault for not remembering but he has been so great and attentive. This place is gold. Btw Los Maguey’s in Dallas, GA is where I first went and that’s how I fell in love with this restaurant! Fabulous fabulous fabulous!
