I have been looking forward to eating here since I found this place online few weeks ago. I ordered a cinnamon roll, side of potatoes, and eggs Benedict for takeout. When I went to pick up, they could not find my order because they misspelled my name badly. I finally got it and got home to dive into my food. I was quite disappointed. My cinnamon roll only had icing on about ⅓ and rest was just bread with some cinnamon but didn’t taste bad but it’s not what was expecting. My husband got the Benedict and it was not good. There was barely any hollandaise sauce and what was there was thin and split. One of the egg wasn’t even on the English muffin. It was on top of the potatoes. All in all for what we paid and my expectations based on the online reviews, I was very disappointed. I really want to try the lemon blueberry pancakes but we are not willing to try this place again. I don’t know if they assumed because it’s takeout they don’t need to worry it’s good or because they lost the order and were in a rush. Either way, for a first and last experience, I’m sad. I had hoped that along with crooked tree cafe, this would become a go-to for breakfast. Im sticking with Crooked Tree Cafe. One thing I will say is that all the girls at the front were nice and pleasant. Unfortunately, bad food and lack of effort by the kitchen won’t be made up by pleasant people.

Omg! 5 stars is not enough. My husband and I happen to be infamous lovers of the Saturday morning breakfast date. It’s seriously higher on our list than a nice Friday night dinner spot. When I say we are always on the lookout for our new favorite breakfast place, I mean we could prob host our own food network breakfast joint review show. This place BY FAR surpassed our expectations! My husband the pockets of cornbeef hash eaters loved this version! And his everything bagel on the side tasted SO freshly baked, we were pretty sure it had just come out of the oven. We both had the Gouda grits and both raved at how creamy and delectable they were. My lemon blueberry cakes were the perfect combination of light and fluffy and the lemon glaze on top was the most delicate balance of sweet and lemony to top off this citrusy take on a pancake! To top all this off, they gave us a military discount for my husband’s active duty service and it was the best military gratitude either of us have ever seen. All in all, we were thoroughly impressed, and delighted to have found such a gem so close to our home! We will definitely be back for more- and may we say, this place is hopefully here to stay for a very long time Here’s a few pics from one of our many return visits! The stuffed French toast was an all around winner!!!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. We were looking for breakfast type restaurant in the area and we tried this place for first time recently. It was around 10am when we got there and was a little wait for party of 3 since they were pretty pack. There was a line to check in. Wasn't that long of a wait though. I had to say with them being busy, we were in and out within 45 mins! We received good service from Delroy. He was attentive and courteous. Our food came out pretty quick. I had the blueberry lemon pancake(comes with 2 stacks), one son had the cinnamon roll pancake(one huge stack) and the other son had the which came first plate. I enjoyed my blueberry pancake. My two boys is now hooked on this place. After coming home that was all they raved about and told their friends how delicious place that was! They had the nerve to ask to again the next day lol. We will return!

First I want to start with the good. The food was delicious. I ordered eggs and sausage breakfast. The restaurant looks nice inside and a lot more bigger then from the outside.

Now the service. So I came in and it was completely my first time. I was given a menu and then the server just left. Another one came and started to get my order. They didn’t try to explain anything or asked if I had any questions. Not even a hi how are you? When I did ask a question. She acted very annoyed. I was also pretty rushed to place my order. Then I was asked what I wanted to drink.

My food came out pretty fast and made me feel like it was pre made.. 🤨 I decided to wait a little for it to cool down. And took out my credit card to put in my information to get an Uber back home. Which is pretty important. It took only like 5 minutes. I just got the card from my bank and had to do it right away.

When I looked up from the phone the server was giving me a pretty dirty look and made me feel rushed like I had to leave. I really don’t think I deserved that, very rude. After I started eating she asked my once if everything was alright. After I said yes, she stuck the check in my face for “when I was ready”. Which is also very rude. I wasn’t going to be ready in a while. She also did the same thing to a guy next to me who came in a few minutes after me. He actually just got his food. After that she just disappeared, and I had to get another server to fill my water.

Please don’t get me wrong, I know how its like to be a server. I was a server before for about 5 years in total. I know how had it can get and how difficult customers can get, but that was just ridiculous. I used to have all sorts of bad days but I sucked it up and did my job. I was kind, courteous, and personable no matter what because to me each customer mattered and was important. In all my years as a server I have never provided that kind of customer service.

First tip. When someone new comes in and have never heard of your establishment. Its a good idea to welcome them and be nice and welcoming. Or even just a bit happy to see the person. They didn’t have to pick your place, they could have just walked by. You really don’t know what is going on in peoples lives. So please don’t stand there judging them from behind the counter. Please wait and have a little patience and give the check to someone at least after 3 bites. (How would you know? Look at their plate and just estimate) Please check the drinks of the customer. Even if it’s just water. Have a smile on your face or even a pretend one. Nobody wanted to be served by someone grumpy, who looks like they hate their job.

I really liked the food and will totally give this restaurant another chance and try a different location. But for this location I probably wont come back. This was my personal experience and I don’t think all servers are like that at this location, but I will def avoid it in the future. Which is very sad because this location is like 3 minutes from my house and I shop at this plaza almost every...

Love this place. We drive thirty five minutes to eat here. I wish it was closer to lithia springs. They always have more than enough employees to keep customers eating and happy! The food is great! Eggs benedict is fantastic! The booths are clean and private-ish. Don't go on a sunday after church or a saturday around 10am or you'll have to wait.

EDIT 10/22/23: Is this place under new management? Something has drastically changed since we were here months ago. It is not the well oiled machine it used to be.

We went here today for breakfast after many months of not going and was surprised to see a different atmosphere. The wait staff is all different and wear different shirts. Instead of moving around methodically and quickly, they seemed to mope around when they weren't hanging out in the kitchen.

We watched one table of 2 people finish eating, get their check and then wait about 20 minutes for the waitress (older latino lady) to come back and take the credit card to pay. She never came. They went to the hostess to try to pay but she sent them back to their table to wait more. They finally threw cash on the table and walked out.

We also watched a hostess seat customers at a dirty table. The guy had to yell at her to get her attention and ask her to get it cleaned. She reseated him at a different table. This would have never happened 6 months ago it seems.

The food took a lot longer than usual and wasn't presented as nicely as it used to be. The cheese omelet was thin and small (probably 2 eggs instead of the usual 3?), the home fries were few & luke warm. A side of bacon is now 2 super thin strips instead of 3 regular thickness strips?

The eggs benedict were sloppily put together on a huge plate all by themselves. No toast or homefries. Nothing... just 2 small eggs on English muffin halves on a huge empty plate.

I usually take pics of our food to send to my elderly mom out of state. Today was so unappealing that I didn't even take a pic.

The ceiling fans are on a very high setting which causes an uncomfortable chilly breeze if you're sitting anywhere near one. I never noticed that until today. Do they need to be going that fast?

Where is the nice manager/owner lady who is always standing in the seating area watching employees and guests, making sure things go smoothly? She was no...

Let me just start off by saying, we went to the Acworth location for the first time ever and the service was so amazing and the food was just as great as the service. That is the only reason we decided to give this location on Dallas highway a try. We got there at 1:10 and walked in and immediately noticed that the hostess in the front had a bad attitude. She was not cheerful or welcoming or even nice. But not wanting that to ruin our experience, we brushed it off and followed her to get sat. Once sat, our server, we don’t know her name because she never said it, but she had red hair, came and just asked for our drink orders. She didn’t give us silverware until we had to ask for it. When she took our food order, she acted like we were dumb for asking questions about the food and didn’t give us time to think about what we wanted. I ordered the shrimp and grits and asked for there not the be cheese in the grits because on the physical menu it says Gouda grits. She then told me that it doesn’t have cheese in it, like I was an idiot for even thinking so. She was extremely short with us and did not smile or even have a good attitude. Whenever we were finished saying something pertaining to our order, she wouldn’t respond or even go over what we wanted, she’d just walk off without a single word. I know she knows how to smile because I saw her chopping it up with the table behind us. I asked for boxes and a check and she walked off without saying a word of course and didn’t ask if we wanted to split the check, which we did want to. It all might seem like minuscule things, but when added up, it was really the worst dining experience we’ve in a long time. We will not be returning to this location, instead we’d rather drive the extra distance to go to the acworth location where the servers have basic standards...
