I recently visited Maple Street Biscuit Co.(KENNESAW), a venue renowned for its delectable offerings. The food truly stands out, with each dish crafted to perfection by the dedicated employees, reflecting the establishment’s commitment to quality and taste. The food is great, but employees seem not happy or motivated enough, which makes the experience not welcoming. It’s a shame because the food is great.
However, my overall experience was significantly dampened by several service-related issues. The employees, although skilled in their culinary duties, appeared noticeably unmotivated and indifferent. This lack of enthusiasm created an unwelcoming atmosphere, which was quite disappointing. Employees may ruin this fine establishment if these issues are not addressed.
Furthermore, basic service elements were lacking. Clean utensils were not readily available and had to be requested, resulting in unnecessary delays. The absence of readily accessible barbecue sauce was another inconvenience, forcing diners to wait and potentially allowing their food to cool. For those of us who appreciate our meals hot, this was a notable frustration.
The state of cleanliness in the establishment was particularly troubling. Overflowing garbage bins, with refuse spilling out, were both unsightly and unhygienic. Additionally, tables were dirty, and patrons were seen cleaning them themselves, despite the presence of numerous employees. Such neglect in maintaining basic cleanliness standards is alarming and detracts significantly from the dining experience.
In conclusion, while the food at Maple Street Biscuit Co. is undeniably excellent, the overall dining experience is severely hindered by poor service and inadequate attention to cleanliness. These issues overshadow the culinary talent on display, and it is imperative that management takes immediate action to address them. I awarded three stars solely for the exceptional food, but without prompt improvements in service and hygiene, the potential of this establishment may regrettably...
Read moreSo at work on Sunday our boss decided to treat us to a breakfast late treat. Each of us chose off the online menu and she turned in the order and went and picked it up for us. That being said, there was about 11 orders. I can tell you that the reviews of the 11 people were all that the food was favorable. Tasty but this menu line just doesn't fare well for a tear ago order. The waffles by the time we got them were extremely soggy. And gravy were soggy, items are cold and it just microwaving didn't seem to enhance the product. So I think a much better review would come if I had eaten at the restaurant. Now what I had was what's called the farmer's biscuit which is a biscuit with a deep fried chicken breast apple with bacon, cheese and maple syrup. Well being cold the cheese. Although it isn't a real cheddar cheese, not some fake cheese like fast food places use was congealed oddly and even warming it up. Didn't really help. The chicken was very tasty. The chicken was moist. The app would bacon was good. The biscuit had great flavor but again was totally soggy because all the maple syrup. The one shining star was the grits! Being as they had butter and cream cheese they were smooth silky very tasty to my mine I added a bit of salt which brought out the flavor more to me but that's personal taste. But these grits were great. They were the star of the food. I don't know. Maybe if on the to-go orders they would put the syrup in a container or the biscus and gravy separate from one another or the biscuit sandwiches that had gravy on them if the gravy could come in the side item. Anyway, pictures will show you that the product does look good and again the chicken was wonderful. Flavored it was moist. It was tasty. It was a good sandwich. It just would have been better if I'd eaten at...

Maple Street Biscuit Company on Barrett is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever visited, and it deserves every bit of recognition it gets. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with warm smiles, genuine hospitality, and a level of customer service that is rare to find nowadays. The staff here are not only friendly but also attentive, professional, and truly make you feel like you’re part of their family.
The atmosphere inside is just as inviting — clean, comfortable, and filled with positive energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast, sitting down for brunch, or just stopping in for a coffee, this location makes the experience something special.
The food? Absolutely incredible. The biscuits are fresh, fluffy, and cooked to perfection, paired with flavors that are both comforting and memorable. Every bite feels like it’s made with love and care, and you can taste the quality in everything that comes out of the kitchen.
What stood out the most to me, though, was the way the staff went above and beyond to make sure my visit was perfect. That kind of service is what keeps people coming back. As someone who values respect and community, I can’t thank them enough for the way they treat their guests.
I want to especially recommend this spot to my fellow Military members and First Responders.
