I actually made a major error by not knowing how much had been spent on my card the night before after letting a âfriendâ use it to go pick up some items at the supermarket - come to find out - she - all but wiped out my card without saying anything .
so, when it comes time to pay for my 22 month old daughters nugget meal - I came up short and was clearly confused.
After they ran the card again - I remembered what had happened and knew that the mistake was my own fault.
Rather than the manager being upset with me - or anything less than super polite - she actually made one of the kinder gestures Iâd seen from a stranger in a long long time.
She paid for not only my daughters - but also my two hamburgers I had ordered not in the restaurant either - but her meager salary.
And even went further, insisting that I not come back thru when possible (as we live 40+ miles from this location) to pay her back.
I was humbled and touched by the selfless act of kindness from someone that likely struggles weekly just to make her own ends meet.
And I hope that - should someone be reading this - they too - when the time presents - may consider just how powerful the act of paying it forward truly is.
Especially in the midst of this crazy social distancing propaganda - now is when we need to be there for one another more than ever.
Or the schism that is - prejudices- propaganda - and agenda-driven ethnocentric horse $&&$ will only further divide us as a people; â a southern people who â no matter what color â or account size â have always prided ourselves on our hospitality.
And ability to provide random acts of kindness; juat like this one which was offered to me - when I most needed it - and very likely didnât deserve it.
True Grace. As Grace literally means undeserved kindness. I only know that after my daughters grandmother insisted she be given that name - and like this instance - that too was one of those moments in life - I wish I could have been wiser in my age and recognized her wisdom before feeling some type of way about having her insist on having a say in naming our daughter (needless to say - she got her say - she is - after all the proud black woman - who is also of mixed race descent - that is helping to ensure my mixed race daughter understands the importance of knowing both her heritages).
Well - just wanted to say Thanks McDonaldâs - you reminded me that there is a human on the other side of the window - and that we should always be on the look out for those angel unawares - as that is truly what this instance was too me - and I know my daughter - not even 3 yet - recognized that for what it was - and could literally serve as her first ever memory for all any of us know.

Order# 1681 06/26/2022 07:34:49 PM
No one answered the drive thru and the doors were locked. No one answered the phone when I tried to call. So I'm not sure who these people gave my order to but they charged me for it. I actually placed another order at the location down the street and recevied that order. I need someone to contact me about a refund immediately. Your "contact us" on the app and in a browser has a circular function error which is not allowing me to contact anyone because when I enter the location it brings me back to ordering options. How do I get this fixed before I have to contact my bank with fraud charges because I was charged over $26 dollars for food I never received. FYI that location is a big problem!!!
2020 Disgusted! Young lady with blond weave and long fingernails was eating fries from the basket with her fingers. Another employee saw her and chuckled a little saying you can't do that, after the 2nd time. Only one of the employees was wearing a mask and everyone with long weave or long braids had no hair nets on. The young man grilling burgers was holding an arms full at at time of burgers to his chest (gray sweater) with one arm while peeling them off to put on the grill with the other hand. I observed him do this 3 times while I stood at the counter waiting on a curbside order that I had already waited 25 minutes for outside. The girl who was previously seen eating with her fingers and not washing her hands went on to ruffle through my bag although another young lady was filling my order. She also checked the fries that were cooking by lifting the basket and took orders to the drive thru window. I was cringing the entire time and havimg a personal panick attack behind my mask. Please get your employees on some covid safety protocols and general food safety awareness. I'll never come back to your store as my nerves are too shot...
Read moreLet me start off by saying Iâve given this location so many compliments in the past, but todayâs experience left me with an impression that I canât ignore.
I went through the drive thru and ordered a #6 ADD KETCHUP AND LETTUCE⌠I didnât ask for anything to be taken away or ONLY ketchup and lettuce but to ADD it was my request. The young lady at the speaker was very pleasant and the young man who took my money was as well. I got to the second window and the young lady there was also pleasant. I was asked what my order was and to move up because there was a line⌠I moved up with no problem. Shortly after, One of the managers brought me my food and I thanked her and I drove off. I opened my food at the light and noticed I had mustard and ketchup on my sandwich so I made a u-turn and went through the drive-thru to have it corrected. The lady at the second window was nice about it and took the sandwich for it to be corrected. We agreed that it was probably a misunderstanding at the speaker but we giggled about it and she brought the sandwich back and said to check it before I pulled off. I opened it, and it had ketchup mustard and tarter sauce. At this point the male manager comes to the window and asks what I wanted then asked me to pull up to the front again⌠I did, STILL WITH NO ATTITUDE. I decided to go inside so thereâs no further confusion. They informed me the lettuce was extra. I gave a dollar with no problem. From this point it seems EVERYBODY IN THIS MFKA GOT AN ATTITUDE⌠which I was confused because I wasnât rude or disrespectful I just wanted lettuce and ketchup added to my d*mn fish fillet!!!!!! So the cooks now look confused and the male manager has an attitude. I say I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS SO HARD⌠all I want is to add lettuce and ketchup. So long story short⌠yâall need to practice better customer service. It was a misunderstanding and I didnât cause an issue when things couldâve escalated over...
