McDonald's — Restaurant in Georgia

one of the worst experiences i’ve had w a mcdonald’s. ordered 3 mcdoubles w bacon and strawberry milkshake. got my milkshake and was told to pull up to wait. 15 minutes later, got the order but w no bacon. went back around told them it was messed up they asked for the food back thru the window (which is very unsanitary especially because COVID-19) and they asked me to pull up again. waited another 15 minutes to get my same bag back w my half eaten burger (after 2 bites i noticed no bacon) two new sandwiches and container of burnt black bacon. i checked the bag w the employee in front of me told him that’s unacceptable and i need to speak to a manager. english wasn’t the managers native language so there was a language barrier. she was kind and apologetic but seemed to place blame on others. she offered to remake the food but after having waited almost 40 minutes, i just wanted my money back. gave her the receipt and she came with a refund that wasn’t even the correct amount. $12.81 was my total and she brought me $11 in cash back. so over this mcdonald’s that i didn’t even try to get the right amount of money back. the remaining money i’ll cut my loses with but i don’t think it was fully understood how unsanitary to take food back through the window. 1/10 would not recommend...

OK here’s the deal. I keep seeing critics complain about that it’s not real meat. It’s fast food people. None of it’s real whether it’s a hamburger or a french fry. We have to stop going to fast food places assuming they’ve got the best quality everything. Do you really think you’re eating a $.67 cheeseburger and any part of it is real or good for you? Somehow they raise a cow, slaughtered it, process that cow put it in the truck drove it to the store someone cooked at minimum wage and served it to you for $.67 and they made a profit.

That said it’s all about if you liked it or not. Lots of my friends love them and lots of my friends don’t love them.

I love them! I think they’re great and in no way do I think that they’re good for me they’re not. But once a year I get to have that barbecue sauce onions and pickles and whatever process slab of whatever that “meat” is and I love it.

So I suggest try it if you don’t like it spit it...

It's McDonald's so you probably already know what the deal is going in. I was hungry and wanted something quick since I didn't have anything prepped at home. With that being the case I hit up the drive thru. The issue I had was I ordered a mushroom and swiss grilled chicken sandwich with no mushrooms. Yes I know that defeats part of the purpose, but I loathe mushrooms. I got home and discovered that not only were mushrooms present, but I was given a burger. Further more the sauce on it was not provided. Essentially they got nearly as much wrong on my order as they could get wrong. The quality is what you already expect, but the lack of attention to any resemblance of service was surprising. If you're in a pinch or craving McDonalds I would go to another location. The facade here is new, the outcome is not. Again, it's fast food so you might not need a review to know...
