I recently (5/22/24) had a horrible experience with our local store. I ordered 30 pizzas online for a neighborhood party for 6 pm delivery. At 3:11 pm, I realized the delivery address was my home address and I wanted them delivered to the neighborhood pool. I called- put on hold for 4 min. Called back at 3:15, put on hold again. Tried back at 4:35. It took 13 minutes on the phone, but staff member was kind, changed address. I asked for confirmation that it was 30 pizzas a 6pm. Staff member stated he would get a manager. Manager got on phone and was pleasant and took correct order. I confirmed pizzas could still arrive at 6 pm. He said they could. Pizzas did not arrive until 7:05 pm. I called at 6:19 to get update on order, which I was told pizza was on the way. At 6:39, pizza had still not arrived. I called again. Placed on hold. I tried again at 6:41 and 6:45. I waited on hold. At 6:46, called again and phone was answered, “You are stressing us out. Stop calling.” and hung up on before I had a chance to say a word. I have called corporate twice. The company has yet to reach out to me with apology or resolution. On my second call to corporate, they said the local store offered a future credit. Not sure of amount as that is not an acceptable resolution as I will avoid this business...

The tracker was stuck at the delivery with no information for some time so I called in to check in case they just missed a click. I was immediately put on hold.... 5min passed, nothing. Call again, immediately placed on hold again.... 3min pass. I call again and right as she answered I said "please don't put me on hold I just have a quick question-" but before I could finish, she already put me on hold. Repeat the last one 3 times more and then I just hang up and called back until she actually answered the phone. It was over 10 times at that point. Claimed she was helping a customer in store. Either she is utterly incompetent (she was not young) or blatantly sabotaging your business, which is what it seemed like. People like her will rot the company from the inside out. Read moreFirst, they charge nearly a dollar for a single garlic sauce, which I have never experienced at a Papa John's before. We ordered three pizzas, so we should have received 3 garlic sauces for free, correct? Nope! I spent $3.60 on 4 extra sauces, bringing the theoretical total to 7 sauces, but that's not what we got! They put a single sauce in the pizzas, and gave us 4 extra which I paid for (eg. I payed $3.60 for 2 sauces, since I should have gotten 3 free with the pizzas). Once we actually opened the pizzas, they were drowned in sauce, and the slices were more of indents on the pizza than anything. We literally had to get a pizza cutter and re-slice all three pizzas. I enjoy Papa John's, and I find their pizza delicious, but not at this location. I will be driving further out of the way next time, because I am never going back to the Oak Road Papa John's.
