I placed an order on 12/18 at 10:00pm. I was told the wait would be an hour, which seemed excessive to me but i went ahead and placed an order because my wife and I haven't eaten for the night. So an hour and a half passed and delivery driver hasn't shown up nor have we received a call. So i call the store only to get a automated "we're closed" message. At this point I realized that Pizza Hut has just taken our money and we will be left with turkey sandwiches. Then I received a call back about 3 minutes after i called, and a lady told me that their was an issue in Georgetown with the delivery driver and our pizza was on the way. My response was "its been over an hour and a half".... Kinda hinting that i should deserve some recompensation for the excessive wait. The woman allowed the total to be credited under my information. I kinda figured this was a no brainer but ok i was credited so I'm ok. Now aprox 8-10 minutes later the delivery driver shows up, and i ask what was the hold up because i was curious what could take an hour and forty five minutes to deliver a large pizza and a coke. Her response tickled me. The response was " Dumb drivers". In my head i knew that was a lame excuse because my mother lives in georgetown and i left her house for Hanukah at 10:00 when i placed the order. The streets of georgetown are dead past 10pm let alone 11pm. So now i had my pizza. As soon as i got it in the house i grabbed my Instant read thermometer and placed it in the center of the pizza and got 87 degrees Fahrenheit. I was pretty unhappy to see that. So i had to preheat the oven to practically rebake my pizza. At this point it was around 12:00 by the time my pizza was ready to pull out the oven and finally eat. Probably the most sorry service one could expect out of a pizza joint. As soon as we left my mothers in Georgetown we talked about going to walmart to pick up a Market Fresh pizza to put in the oven. Should have went with my gut because we would have been done eating and cleaned up the dishes before we even got the pizza...
Read moreIf I could give this location a 0 I would. I went in today to order a pizza and when I get there 2 girls where on the phone with a customer, apparently they had a issue I was fine with that I waited 10 minutes for them to clear the issue up. When I finally get a chance to place my order a previous customer comes in and apparently they had messed up his ordered twice now and still didn't have his order correct. The employee by Faith smacked his food out of his hands then opens the machine that warms up the food and slams the door. (That part was bad but wasn't the part that upset me) I over heard her comments about that customer and I heard every single word she said. I have never ever witness someone being mistreat because of the way they look. I was so upset I told the cashier to cancel my order and I left. I returned because I couldn't leave with them thinking the way they treated the customer was okay. I asked for the corporate number which they couldn't give me and instead gave me the "GMs" number. I don't care how someone looks if they are paying for a service you tend to them. If you are frustrated or upset you remove yourself from the situation but you never ever talk badly about a paying customer in front of them or around other customers. The man was still patient and didn't say anything so yes, I stepped in and made them give him credit for what he paid for. I will be contacting the GM and hoping they fix this issue with their staff they lost my business completely. I ended up coming to Mr.Pizza Sportisima wonderful people and...
Read moreFOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A JOB: I recently stopped working at this location. if you’re looking for an “easy” job like being a delivery driver or cook DO NOT APPLY AT THIS LOCATION or at Pizza Hut in general. The pay is barely above minimum wage ($9). It’s hard to even pay rent with that salary. And for the small amount they pay you they make you do literally everything around the store: clean, cook, cut, serve, clean dishes, cashier, answer phones, fold boxes, fill containers, portion food, and do personal errands for the managers at times. They won’t even let you sit down when there’s nothing to do. They took away all the chairs and locked the employees’ break room. No one gets breaks during the day. I used to come home with blisters on my feet from being on them and working constantly for 7+ hours straight. Their reasoning for paying so low is that you get tips. But since the prices are so ridiculously high for the food, the customers don’t want to tip as much anymore. Having to tell customers that two pizzas and 12 wings are over $100 made me cringe every time. The food quality is no where near that good for it to be that expensive. And don’t be fooled by their advertisement saying that they pay $18/hour because that’s only for managers. So if you’re looking for work look somewhere else. This is...
