Green Tea 168 Berwick marketplace — Restaurant in Georgia

So I always come here the food is pretty good. I have no complaints. I’ve been coming to this location for about three years now. One day, I placed a to go order and I had to Cancel my order.(food was not made yet) The reason I had to cancel is because I95 closed down one lane due to maintenance. If I would have stayed in traffic coming northbound, I would have been stuck in traffic for hours. Recently, I have been trying to call to place a to go order, The answering service lets me know that they’re not taking to go orders at this time. I called to place a pick up order, the lady told me that there currently not taking to go orders. So I go in today 5/21/2025 The restaurant is completely empty, and the young lady at the counter is sitting down. I asked to speak to the manager and asked him. Why am I getting denied take out orders. He stated it’s because I canceled an order but he would take me off of the list. I just found this to be very unprofessional and mentioned to him I would take my business right down the street to China Wok. You put people on a band list because they canceled an order and to add an order that wasn’t made. I can see if I placed the order and never picked it up. This business needs...

This food Is good I’ll give them that. Great for a Chinese takeout place. But they need to get employees who can treat the customers with respect and no attitude Definitely . The girl that answered the phone today (10/9/18 @9:40) so here’s the story. My mom and me called in a order around 8:30 and she was HIGHLY RUDE! To my mom and started raising her voice at my mom so my mom handed me the phone to talk to her. We got the ordered place and my stepdad around 9:20 ( yes I understand they are about to close but still) came and paid and got the food. But he was trying to hurry and accidentally left his card there. Well when he got home he asked me to call and see if he left the card there and she started getting hostile with me. And I tried explain to her there isn’t a name on the card because it’s new. But it’s a blue card . She was like “ I don’t see any card here with that description , how much you paid for. And I told her the total. And she was like Yes but the man has to come back in to get it. I understand the security Part of this situation but the way she handled it was completely...

I desperately wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars because of its incredible food. However, the experience, the dining room environment, and the phone ordering process were far from a five-star rating. Long story short, it was ridiculously hot in the dining room, the cashier who took my order could hardly understand anything I was saying, and the front counter is completely blocked by some sort of COVID-19 partition which makes it impossible to communicate and complete transactions with whatever is standing on the other side of that veil.

Honestly, I'm not sure if a person, a robot, an alien, or a talented Afghan Hound was behind that makeshift, thrown-together germ barrier, because it was so big, thick, and opaque ... it was just weird.

However, the food at this restaurant is absolutely outstanding. Granted, some of their food items are just your standard, trusty staples (egg rolls, pork fried rice), but their entrees are excellently seasoned and cooked the way the tastiest Chinese restaurants do. Even those menu items you think you know have a little something extra to make them...
