Rooted Coffeehouse Evans Towne Center — Restaurant in Georgia

I recently had the chance to visit Rooted Coffeehouse, and I am more than delighted to share my fantastic experience. Their hot caramel coffee is genuinely exceptional – a beautiful blend of warm, robust, and sweet flavors that wakes up the senses. The rich, creamy texture is perfectly balanced, making it a delight to sip.

However, what truly stood out to me was the spicy chicken sandwich I grabbed for lunch. Let me tell you - it was beyond amazing! The quality of the ingredients was apparent in every bite. The bread was fresh, soft yet sturdy enough to hold the delicious ensemble together. The chicken was perfectly spiced, lending an exciting kick that was balanced by the subtle, cooling elements of the accompanying condiments. It is clear that this sandwich is not an afterthought on a predominantly coffee-centric menu, but a culinary delight in its own right.

Moreover, I must commend the staff who were incredibly friendly. Their friendly demeanor added an extra touch of warmth to my visit, making the whole experience even more memorable.

I cannot recommend Rooted Coffeehouse highly enough. Whether you're there for their outstanding coffee or to sample their exquisite spicy chicken sandwich, you're in for a real treat.

Good matcha but you will pay extra than what the menu says.

My friend and I went it Rooted Coffeehouse and it was my first time. I ordered an iced matcha latte. Per the menu description, it came with coconut milk. My friend got the golden milk latte which is made with oat milk according to the menu. My friend did not have an up charge for her drink. I didn’t realize it until after reading my receipt, but I was charged an extra dollar for coconut milk. I asked the barista who took my order and she said it was because I “didn’t get whole milk”. I told her I didn’t understand since the menu states the iced matcha latte comes with coconut milk. While my drink was good, I didn’t understand why I had to pay extra. Then she states it must’ve been the “POS system” and that they “need to update the menu” to reflect their price. The barista was nice but did not give me an answer as to why I had an up charge for a milk that comes with my drink and my friend didn’t.

Update: I emailed the company and they said they have changed their menu. I appreciate the fast response and how quickly they addressed my concern. Changing my review...

I went in to get a coffee. I had outside food so I expected to not be able to eat it there. But I asked at the register because I was wanting to stay and work and get a crepe after. The lady at the register said it was perfectly fine for me to eat that food there because I was buying coffee too. After getting my coffee and starting to work, a worker came up and loudly scolded me for having outside food. It was very uncomfortable and exactly what I was trying to avoid when I asked permission. I let her know that I was sorry and that I had asked and received permission to which she dismissed me and told me the girl who gave me permission was new and it said it on the door.

In addition to this they were out of an item I ordered and took 2 weeks to refund me because they “forgot”. This was 2 visits before the embarrassing scolding.
