I wanted some takeout on a Monday (my normal place is closed on Mondays) and decided to try this place out. I got the boneless spare ribs combo and the large Honey chicken (S4). Off the bat they were incredibly nice and welcoming inside. The food was delicious and even the egg roll stood out from generic ones. Unfortunately the white rice that comes with the Honey chicken was left out, but to be fair we were talking as they bagged it up and I forgot to check before leaving as well. This place is my new go to Chinese spot in Evans

We returned to try this adorable little restaurant again. This time we ordered the Double happy. The flavor and presentation were what you might expect from a much higher end restaurant. We also got a special treat: meat tangyuan. They're little meatballs in a sticky rice covering in a vegetable soup. The flavor was outstanding, and the small size of the balls shows the skill needed to prepare them. You can ask the staff if they have any available, they're considering adding it to the menu. No guarantees, though.

We recently visited this place again, and were once again blown away by the quality! Wait times are low, the staff is extremely kind to their patrons, and the food is outstanding! They have some seasonal specials going on right now, like the chicken dishes pictured! The lemon, mango, and pineapple chickens are all delicious! We will absolutely continue to come here whenever we need our fix of excellent Chinese takeout.

China Evans Restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff who clearly care about your dining experience. The menu is packed with authentic Chinese dishes, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully presented.

The Chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweet and spicy, and the vegetable lo mein was fresh and satisfying. We also loved the hot and sour soup – hands down one of the best we’ve had in a long time.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, China Evans is a fantastic choice for delicious Chinese food in the area....

We placed an order here on Saturday for 50 wings for the football game. We arrived and the owner let us know she added extra spring rolls in the bag for us(no cost to us). We were very pleased with the generosity. As we were about to leave, she stopped as and asked us if we wanted to try an item not on the menu(like a bread dumpling filled with meat) She had extras from making them for her son who was home from college. We said yes and she brought those out WITH sweet and sour chicken for the kids. It wasn't even about the free food but just her generosity to share and her appreciation for us being customers. This place deserves heavy foot traffic. We typically order Chinese takeout on Christmas Eve for dinner...we will now be using this place for...

Between the tasty food and the super nice couple that runs the store, this place is gonna be my go-to place for Chinese food in the future.

I like that the food is not oily and they have an interesting variety of food to get like Ramen and Meat-buns! I definitely enjoyed the soup the most while I was there! I also ordered steamed dumplings, chicken wings, and noodles and they were all nicely made and not heavy on my stomach. Always a plus when it comes to ordering takeout in my opinion.
