Smoothie King — Restaurant in Georgia

I go to this location all the time in the mornings to grab a smoothie and they are THE BEST.

If you ever frequent different Smoothie King locations, you’ll know that they can be wildly inconsistent in terms of quality: you can order the same smoothie and have it come out 5 different ways depending on who is working, how busy they are, etc. This gets really frustrating when you’re paying extra for modifiers and they obviously just ignore them. At THIS location, I get the same smoothie EVERY the time and it’s always AMAZING.

Nowadays, this is the ONLY location I will go to, and I try to go in the mornings when Sammy is working because not only is he super friendly and great with customers, he makes a killer smoothie. Seriously, if there was a Michelin star for fast food, I’d give it to this guy. I often grab a smoothie as a meal replacement since I’m on the go a lot: carting my kid around to school, therapies, etc, and I can’t tell you how grateful and appreciative I am to be able to come here knowing that it’s going to be consistently great every time. I went to this Smoothie King on Johnson Ferry Road and was truly dissatisfied. I sat in the line for the drive through for ten minutes with only two cars ahead of me. Finally, I went into the store. This was a big mistake. I placed my order. The Smoothie was extremely watery. I took it back to the counter and instead of making it over, he added ice. I could not taste any of the pineapple, spinach, or any of the other I ingredients for that matter. It was so bland. He should have remade my smoothie. I was too tired to care at that point. I was also too hot. They should adjust the thermostat also! I will NEVER come back to this store. This store is terribly understaffed. Whoever is managing this store aught to be ashamed for the way this store is being overseen. I ordered the "special of the day" only to realize that it is not actually special. Special implies that it's a deal or discounted somehow. This drink was not. Also, I asked an associate if there were certain blends that were included in the $5 Monday "special". He explained that all drinks were included but they were almost all over $5. How is that a special? There always seem to be a bunch of teenagers behind the counter. It seems like they must be inviting their friends to come make smoothies. The lobby was nearly empty but there was at least 6 different kids behind the counter. I'm sure there must measurements and recipes to follow but every time I've seen a drink poured there's a lot leftover that gets poured into a another cup. Are employees encouraged to make more for themselves or friends? Is the extra thrown away? This location needs more adult supervision, less waste,...
