Subway — Restaurant in Georgia

Update 2-2024: We have since been back - because it’s the closest subway to home - and the service is back to the typical, barely acceptable variety that it always was. That day must have been a fluke. But the food is good 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm only giving this place 2 stars because I've had good experiences at this location in the past, but I wanted to give it 1 star for today's disaster (Friday 10-21-2022). We went there at 4:15pm. The Open sign was on. The front door was unlocked. Some ladies walked out right as we walked in - food in hand. But when we went inside...no one was there. Waited...called out "Hello?"...waited... Two men came in behind us, and we were all wondering aloud where any employees might be. Should we make our own sandwiches? I mean, I know it's only fast food and we shouldn't have very high expectations. But really, management needs to know that something very unprofessional and unacceptable...

I can not think of worst Subway location. I have loved Subway for decades now and eaten at locations across the United States. But this one...wow! They made the sub with the wrong meat (one we could not eat) and when we got home and realized it, we tried to call for over an hour. The phone was never answered even though they were open. So we had to throw the sub away. I have now had to ask the manager 3 times for a refund or gift card without any reply other than what seems to be generic. All I ask is they correct the mistake but that seems to be something they are incapable or...

Hit or miss Subway, especially for pickup. Usually, it's good and well-made. But other times, they mark your pickup order as "ready" when they haven't even started making it. A few times they marked the order ready for pickup, but when I arrived 10 minutes later they hadn't made it and it took another 15-20 minutes to make it.
