Jay one of the bar tenders tried to start an altercation with a customer. He actually asked if the customer had an problem and was very agressive. He seemed overwhelmed and became hostile very easily. This bar staff were VERY unorganized and unfriendly. I will NOT be back. It became so bad that customers were taking amongst each other about how poor the service and professionalism was. Just sad. Bar staff at this location needs to be replaced with customer experience servers. If you do this you will see you revenue and customer base grow. You're not losing money from overpour but from a staff that is ridged, unorganized, profane and umperfesional. What happened to friendly staff?
After telling a customer that they should choose a different restaurant as the bar tender was rude the bartender Jay confronted me. He asked what I said and I told him that I told the customer that he was rude. He started yelling and said for me to get out. I asked him to speak to his manager. He stormed out while cursing and brought back management and 3 security officers. I explained the issue to the manager who was polite but refused to give me contact information to the corporate office. Soon after two Atlanta police officers came to escort me from the restaurant. I truly don't understand how a polite and concerned customer has law enforcement called simply because he tried to save other customers from the attitude and disrespect from the staff. I took time to personally apologize to the 3 customers in the restaurants smoking section for the way Jay had treated and spoke to them. Sad that this store stands behind staff that treat customer with such contempt. We should all expect better; shame on the staff...
Read moreWas about to smile and compliment host until I was rudely overlooked and yelled at with both eyes on their cellphone, I’ll rate the food a 2 since we were loudly and aggressively told upon arrival that they weren’t serving food so I didn’t get to try anything, but I get off of a long flight, I’m 20 years old, my boyfriend is 23, I’m a bartender myself and usually have no problem being told I cannot sit at a bar since I am not of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages until 2 months. I wanted a soda water with lemon, boyfriend wants a beer! Aggressively told to move from the bar after I told him I was 20 and planned on a Soda! That’s okay! We sit down, bluntly asked to place an order and my boyfriend needs a minute, says he wasn’t ready and the HOST/BARTENDER/Miserable LGBTQ person up front with long crusty purple nails tells us we cannot be here without buying anything! Hadn’t given us a drink list, told any specials or even a smile damn, I know it’s hard to be in the service industry, I’ve been serving since 16 and bartending now for two years! It sucks! Never would I treat anyone like actual rats, or dogs. Man it made me feel awful. We were told to go literally anywhere else… it was weird. I hope no one else...
Read moreI came here with my wife, who does not drink, intending to try a couple beers and sit at the bar together. The bartender told us that usually, only people who are purchasing food or liquor are allowed to sit at the bar. Gave us a spiel about how people were sitting at the bar too long not buying anything, or something like that. There were also additional seats open at the bar. I've never been told this policy at any bar or taproom as a paying customer with a family member. But the bartender said "it's the holidays, so I'll let it slide."
It made my wife feel so unwelcome/uncomfortable that she left to walk around the concourse, and I cashed out after one beer. I would have liked to try more, but after this establishment made me stressed and my family feel uncomfortable, that was it. In my opinion, this is not how you run a business.
The beer was decent, hence the one star.
In the same terminal, I stopped at Mustard Seed BBQ for a second drink, and the bartender there simply asked my wife, "You good for now, dear?" Didn't boot her from the bar for her not ordering anything, and we were in, out, and on our way with...
