Food Depot — Local services in Dublin

As depressing as I expected service is OK people is friendly but there's something about the store it makes me feel so sad is not the prices, prices are ok the store lights are perfectly dimmed to make you feel sick and if you look down to the floor is outdated enough to make you realize you're in a old and sad building i asked a employee "excuse me where do you keep the bread" and he replied with a voice full of resignation and slightly depressed "over there by the wall" "thats our brand " he replied with a hopeful voice wishing I buy some so I did and the cashier was delighted I asked for a paper bag and at the same time confused why is this guy asking for a paper bag why does he care for the environment out there if we have no hope of life working here is gonna be the dead of us (her eyes was saying what she was thinking) and she replied "no ebt sir" are you using your own money to buy the groceries? And I replied yes is my money this time but i feel like if I stay in the store any longer I would become incapable to care for myself and soon I will need the local authorities to pay for my stuff, and as i walk out with my cheese and bread i'm thanking God I made it out...

Customer service is usually pretty good, but that adding a percentage after you're rung up is confusing people. People actually think they get better prices, when they must not realize that in the end it's all added on anyways. Same prices in the end as Walmart, without the quality. Walmart has way better quality and more of a selection. If you lay attention to the prices here, you'll see that things are actually overpriced. The only good thing is the customer service, except the customer service manager in front. This one lady is very rude! She has no clue what shes talking about. I had wic vouchers a couple times and she really has no clue about it, and tells me they didnt take some of the stuff I chose, yet it was in the WIC paper and walmart and Kroger accept it. Please educate your cashiers, especially the customer...

Not sure why this place is still up and running, the baggers are just lazy and dont want to help, the cashiers are just rude and disrespectful and the head cashiers are the worst. This place just got worst when the tall big lady got in the office, it seems like every time I goes there its always drama or she is in the middle of some drama that is concerning kids. I even heard her talk about people that don't work there and people who do. she needs to come out the office and let either the black big guy run it or one of the white girl. I never see her do any work and I hear they cant keep no one because of how she talks to people. I WILL BE CALLING CORP TO MAKE A REPORT ON HER FOR SOMETHING ELSE. BUT SHE NEEDS TO COME OUT THAT OFFICE BEFORE SHE RUNS IT...
