Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

We arrived at roughly 9am on Sunday morning & if we were not awake on arrival, we were upon entry through the doors of hell. First, the seating. If you weigh more than 175lbs good luck getting into the booths. Even the skinny fought to get to the chairs at the tables. I am built like a linebacker, so the booth I squeezed into was less than comfortable. As soon as the skinny guy & girl left the bar, we got the table at the counter with the chairs even before it was cleaned. The music playing was loud enough that I could not hear our conversation at the table. The only thing that was equal to the excessive noise was the labored breathing sounds of our waitress. To top it off, our waitress & others thought it necessary to scream the orders from one side of the restaurant to the other. There must be a coffee pot conspiracy going on because they were left on the tables & then the waitresses would yell "who stole my pot of coffee!!" Piles of garbage under the tables & mounds behind the counter with staff stepping over it. General cleanliness was desired but not obtained! sticky tables and counters, dirty pots and pans lay about, I even took a towel off the counter and cleaned my own table before the staff could. We come to this location after trick or treating with two small children and arrived at 9:30. They’re only using three booths because they were short staffed. The waitress told us that it would be just a few minutes. Then after waiting for 15 minutes a family left and a table become available. While waiting for the table to be wiped off, a couple come in and set a bag in the booth. I said excuse me but we are waiting for that table, they said that the table had been saved for them. Then about five minutes later the same waitress that told us that it would only be a few minutes says “oh I told them that they could sit there”. I didn’t know that Waffle House took reservations, I thought that it was first come first serve. In my opinion that was very rude and a waist of 20 minutes at almost 10:00 pm on a Sunday night. I’ve had another bad experience at this location before, but I wanted to give them another shot because they had usually been pretty good in the past. My family and I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!!! I advise anyone wanting to come here looking for decent customer service GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, this place is very rude and...

I have never been disrespected at a waffle house until I came here. First the cook was scrubbing the floor the went put gloves on and starts to cook..i tried to let that go telling myself he is wearing gloves. But then We ordered two meals to go. When i saw food being boxed up to go i asked waitress if i could get the receipt so I could pay. She told me amount was 15.76. I asked her again, may I see the receipt. She says all indignant "excuse me" backs up and says "so rude". I responded "ma'am how am I being rude asking to see my receipt, I dont know you" she says "I don't know u either " and turns her back to me. I asked her her name and the corporate number. " she said " my name is Kim and the corporate number is on the door" while she pointed at it then walked away. Therefore we left. And took our business elsewhere... this is very sad because we are new to the area..and never experienced this while frequently going waffle house in Conyers.
