I had an issue with one of your employees, at the window check out. I without a doubt think it's the location, environment. Unfortunately. We as a black community need to do better. Especially when you have a job and millions are unemployed. Not to make it any racial divide but I don't ever get that kind of treatment. At a predominantly white or even mixed location. Sad to say. I'm making this statement because we live and learn and errors always need to be corrected. So we don't continue to make the same errors. Due to that person's lack of professionalism and customer service. When stirring for a major fast food franchise. I asked for no ice and when the young lady went to the back to tell her co workers about what just happened. Talking unprofessional about a customer when dealing with his or her food. Should not be tolerated in any capacity. When you're handling a customers food. You now made me start to think what could be happening and why is it taking so long. After telling me to move up further and had me wait for 5 minutes. For you to bring me a cup of juice with no ice. Is ridiculous. In this case, a customer is always right. For one it's not that big of a deal for you to just give me a cup of juice with no ice. It was a simple mistake because I told the robot/A.I. what i wanted with my order. I should never have to feel disgusted because of his you treated me for something so simple. a personal issue a employee has with me or anyone for that matter. When it comes to us spending our hard earned money. At a franchise we enjoy eating. All we ask for is good service and good food. Oh and by the way. My food ended up being cold and did not taste like what I normally get. So while giving her back the cup. She paused with a unpleasant look. That type of look would make any customer have second thoughts of spending their money with...
Read moreThe drive thru was slow, the two 10 piece nuggets were cold. Went back through the long drive thru since the doors were not open. They told us in the past they cannot accept food back through the window but they took them back along with the receipt, which was okay because we would have thrown them away anyway. I saw the young man go in the bag to examine them and then disappear only to reappear with nuggets of the SAME TEMPERATURE. When we brought that to their attention the manager said she just watched the fry person just take them out the grease. I held a nugget in my fingertips for 15 seconds, no heat or burnt fingertips. She did the same and STILL says they just came out the fryer with a snappy attitude. I then asked for a refund and my original receipt. She stated she would give it back. When she returned she gave us the card back and a refund receipt I asked for the original receipt and they took a minute and returned it with already refunded as if we were trying to scam and try to get another refund elsewhere or another time. Consistently this location has poor quality food, poor attitudes and slow service. This is the location closest to my home and you can pay me a million dollars and I would never spend another red cent there. My money is valuable and so is my word. I have worked in fast food and currently am a customer service manager. There is no way on earth I would allow my employees or even myself to provide this level of subpar service to even my worst enemy. Everyone that will listen will hear about the poor experiences I have had every single time I have gone there. I tried to give them a chance to redeem themselves but this was the last straw!...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed and hurt by my recent experience at the Wendy’s on Old National. What should have been a quick, simple visit turned into one of the most distressing and humiliating situations I’ve ever encountered.
Not only was the staff unprofessional and completely lacking in basic customer service, but I was also met with blatant hostility from management. Instead of addressing my concerns in a respectful manner, they threatened me, told me I would wait over an hour, and escalated the situation by calling the police—an act that felt entirely unnecessary and seemed intended to inflict emotional harm. I felt targeted, vulnerable, and humiliated in front of others, all over what should have been a straightforward matter.
What’s more disturbing is that the management chose to record me and take photos of my car and license plate. This invasion of privacy left me feeling violated and intimidated. I never expected to be treated this way by a place I frequented for a simple meal. I understand businesses have policies, but the lack of professionalism, respect, and humanity in this case is unacceptable.
I hope Wendy’s corporate takes note of the toxic environment at this location. No one should have to leave feeling threatened, hurt, and emotionally scarred.
Thanks to “Q” the shift manager, “Lisa” the general manager, and the other lady with the dreads, I will NEVER return to this location. I doubt those are the names and titles, but that’s what they gave me this incident was today...
