This Wendys is in a great location right in the middle of a high traffic area in Southwest Atlanta. The restaurant was recently renovated to update the style to be in line with the Wendys brand. Sadly the staff at this Wendys are often rude and slow. I have visited this location many times over the years and the service has been consistently poor. My last visit I decided to try placing my order through the Wendys app for curbside pickup. When I arrived at the restaurant I could see that the drive thru was not busy and considered just joining the line, but I wanted to try out the curbside service. I pulled into one of the dedicated curbside pickup spots and selected I am here in the app. I waited for 6-9 minutes before one of the Wendys staff members came out to check if the two cars parked in curbside pickup needed anything. I mentioned that I had a mobile order for pickup to which the rep asked if I had already gone through the drive thru to let them know I was there to pickup an order. I told the rep that it was a curbside pickup order and she said she would check on it for me. A few mins later she yelled from the drive thru window to advise me that someone told her to tell me to drive around. No problem I said and drove around the drive thru. This type of behavior is typical for fast food joints in my neighborhood and I live in what is considered an affluent area; For context the previous three Atlanta City Mayors reside in this...
Read moreI pulled up here @ 7:57am to pick up my mobile order. Was at the box for about 5 mins before someone acknowledged me & was told my order wasn’t in the system. Because I couldn’t find my exact order in time the woman started asking for my order repeatedly so I just drove to the window. She comes to the window & says she can’t find my order so I proceed to show her the order confirmation, a guy comes out & says the same thing. Now I’m confused because I’m showing them the order & asked if they need the order # she says we can’t find it by the order # & I don’t like how you’re screaming at me (not screaming) my voice is elevated because there’s a disconnect & she has a headset on. She then says I’m not going to accept your order because I don’t like how you’re speaking to me?! Then the guy comes back out & says to place my order again & go back around. I do that to be told by yet another employees that “his manager” said I was rude to her & he can’t fulfill my order. So just waste my time for a second time? I wasn’t rude to her which I expressed & once I asked for her name he goes to speak to her again & says he’ll just make my order. Thanks to him. Otherwise, if she’s a manager she needs to learn how to speak to customers herself & be more efficient. I placed the order & clearly there was an issue...
Read moreI went to this location on Sunday night around 12am and mine and my mother's experience was HORRIBLE... MARCELL WAS SO RUDE. when we first got in the drive thru lane nobody came to the speaker for almost 10 mins then when I said hello he yelled at me to hold on.. the cars behind me even heard him and a couple drove off. When he finally came to the speaker he was so rude and rushed me to get done then messed my order all up.. I went to the first window to pay and he had me go to his window the 2nd one and because I told him he was rude and all that was un called for he said do u want your food cold or naw.. if not shut up. I asked for the manager 5 times before he would be quite and get her. Now for that manager she was amazing. She helped to the best of her abilities. They had cars parked all around waiting for their items and we was ALL SAYING THE SAME..MARCELL DOESNT NEED TO BE WORKING THE WINDOW. he shows the WORST kind of customer service and threatened customers. The manager kept trying to make the situation better but he just wouldn't listen to her.. I normally love going to this store but I had my 70 mom in the car and by the time we left she was in tears by how he was talking and treating all of us... I tried calling the store to make my complaint but nobody will answer. I hope this...
