Green China — Restaurant in Germantown

Thrilled to find EXCELLENT Chinese food in the Germantown/Collierville area. After living all over the country and being somewhat of food-snob foodies, we've been trying every local restaurant in town. We were starting to lose all hope of finding good Chinese food in the immediate area. Green China's menu (which differs from the online menu I'd found) offers a VERY wide selection of "Americanized" Chinese foods, as well as a nice variety of "more-authentic" Chinese dishes. If you want Chinese food that isnt greasy, this is the place! Hadn't been here before so I simply asked the server what he would order and he said Mongolian Beef, so that's what I got! We also tried the Singapore noodles and the steamed dumplings. Everything was very fresh; I actually saw the cook in the back chop veggies specifically for our meal, instead of pulling it out of a container. Service was friendly and helpful and the wait times were not long.

This is our go-to, Carry out, Chinese restaurant that is great for all occasions whether it's Sunday night and don't feel like cooking, or extra family showed up from out of town and you need a quick meal. The portions are great, my family if 5 can eat off of 3 individual meals (but we never order just three because we can never decide of which of our favorites too get, So I get to have lunch the next day as well!
