The artist and staff were amazing! My only concern is the set up. I was extremely displeased with people from another party having to walk back and forth through my gathering. They were in the way at times, loud coming through at times and it was very disruptive to my guests. They stood around, in our area chatting, while we were trying to get our things together. Actually in the way.
One other I noticed was when my guests arrived, they were stopped to “check in”. However, when members of the other party came in, they just directed them to their room. 🤷🏽♀️
Outside of those instances, I highly recommend them. I guess the best thing to do is schedule, when there isn’t another party in the building. 🥴
I couldn’t find a way to respond to the owner’s response. Thank you for explaining the difference in parties. One being a child’s party makes sense. What I was stating is that by it being a “private party”, it was just distracting having people in and out, that were not part of our party. I totally understand that was the entrance. That’s why I said what I did about scheduling, when there isn’t another party going on.
As for accommodating the catering and early guests, it was my understanding we were allowed to be there 30 minutes prior, to set up and 30 minutes after to leave. We cleaned up behind ourselves. I was also told the guest might want to be there 10 to 15 minutes early, so they could get positioned as well. I had a cancellation that was paid for. There wouldn’t have been a logical reason not to allow someone to take that spot. We both had a learning experience....

The only reason the name Ginger was mentioned is because the person that INVITED me said she had been texting "Ginger" and you would not even hear me when I was trying to explain that I was INVITED to take the place of someone who couldn't attend. And yes ma'am I left, I am not willing to be treated so rudely by anyone! Your interaction with me is echoed in SEVERAL other reviews for your establishment. I stand by what I said, you obviously have no clue regardless of how many of these events you claim to host.
Unwilling to help and rude...and that was from the owner. Apparently she isn't accustomed to a large number of people being in her establishment or she has no clue as to how to coordinate a fundraising event, for an animal rescue. Wonder what the occupancy limit is for that tiny store??? I was invited by a friend who had an extra ticket. When I walked in the lady behind the counter (older white woman with "blonde" hair) asked for my name. When I gave it to her she said "You're not on the list". When I attempted to say I was invited, she interrupted me and said "You don't understand, you're not on the list." I completely understood her rudeness! What she obviously doesn't understand is how to treat people with a little kindness. When I asked for a person that would be able to help, the lady nodded towards a table and said "She's at table 3, with brown hair" That place was packed!!! Dang near everybody in there had some shade...
Read moreFantastic studio. My fiance and I determined we needed to get out and do something, so we booked a night with Painting with a Twist, and I'm so glad we attended! We'd gone to Pino's Pallette in Cordova, but since Pino's is closed, we searched for the next closest establishment.. Painting with a Twist has engaging, upbeat, entertaining and creative instructors. Aisha was a blast! Everyone's paintings turned out well, considering none of the attendees were professional artists. We loved it, and the participants at the event added to the lively atmosphere, yet we were still able to concentrate on our paintings and have our own bit of privacy. We were seated at our own table, which I appreciated. Great fun, and a truly great choice if you're looking for a night out with your significant other, friends, or family. Of course, the studio has water fountains and people bring their own (alcoholic) beverages, but consider bringing a soda or bottle of water, because the event is a generous, well-spent two hours. We'll be attending again the next time we're looking for something to do in Memphis! If you're considering booking here, just do it! You...
