I come here once a week. i have only had 2 orders brought to me that was done correctly. One occasion my pizza was cut wrong blending a couple of slices into 2 types of pizza for 1 slice. 2nd i ordered a Calzone that was horribly made like it was smashed flat and thrown in the oven. 3rd I ordered a Half BBQ/half Mediterranean and they made a buffalo/Mediterranean. The waitress told them to just make me a small BBQ real quick and instead of that, they remade the entire pizza which in total took well over an hour and a half to complete. Now I simply ordered a dessert the "Siamese Dream" and they messed that up as well. I decided to take a picture this time. On the left it is stuffed with Bananas with no chocolate sauce. Not everyone wants to have giant chunks of bananas in every bite but that you're supposed to enjoy each ingredient evenly. They had to make me another one which is on the right.
While waiting for my food and just casually looking around i watched the cooks in the back throwing dough in the air to stretch it out. 2 guys were playing around and dropped the dough on the ground from tossing it around like 12 year Olds. That made production slow and profit decrease.
I went to the bar once and asked if they had a few beers in particular because I'm not much of a beer guy, they sadly didn't have what I was looking for. That wasn't the problem though as I understand a restaurant doesn't have every beer. The problem was the bartenders comment just after asking only the 2nd time for a specific beer (MGD). He said "We only sell good beer here" and turned his back to me. The bartender wasn't even busy. I shrugged it off.
The waiters and waitresses are great. The food is good when done right. But the biggest plus is the owners/managers. They will do what is right to make their customers happy as long as there is sufficient enough reason (like a messed up order) and that overall is what keeps a business going.
They could improve in the kitchen greatly by hiring someone to directly oversee everything going on, or retrain/focus their manager to do such as it is needed. Structure needs to be placed in the kitchen as it is a job/business that needs to create profit. I see a lot of money being drained due to bad kitchen management/structure.
Overall it's a nice place to eat.. as long as. your food...
Read moreMy partner and I went on a Sunday, a little after 3pm. The restaurant was nearly empty. When we were seated, a server said "i have to go find out who has this table." That should have been our cue to leave then as there were only about 2 tables with customers.
We ordered our food and drinks and waited for a while before we received our appetizer, spinach dip. The bowl was scalding hot, however, the spinach dip was warm. Some pieces of the bread were burnt. No one came and checked on us, asked us. how our food was or anything. Our server just sat about 2 tables away on her phone. Again, another sign that we should have just left.
We were giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they had a lot of online orders since football was on, and that's why our food was taking so long. However, a table that came in after we ordered, had received their food, eaten it and left.
The entire time we waited, we weren't offered refills. There was no acknowledgement that we were even there.
Our food came out roughly 50 minutes later, and it was luke warm. There was no steam or cheesy strings of cheese. Again, our server did not even come to check on us or our food.
When we finally got her attention, she took our pizza back and said loudly "THEY SAID THE FOOD ISN'T HOT" as if we were lying about visibly cold pizza. The solution? Just heat it up. So we got our same pizza back, reheated. Hard. Dry. it wasn't until we were visibly upset that we even got an offer for refills.
To be in a near empty establishment where there are more workers than customers and still not receive good service is completely unacceptable. What was supposed to be the jumpstart to our anniversary week ended up being a complete disappointment.
The owner did come out and offer to help, that's the only reason i gave them a 2 for service. I doubt we will be going back to this...
Read moreJust had probably one of the worst dining experiences of my life here. I have been coming here for over 5 years now. But I have never had an experience like this We got there at 6:15. We’re finally greeted 5-10 minutes later. The drinks came, we put in our order. And then we weren’t spoken to again for 45 minutes until I pulled another server to the side when asking for a manager, I explained my side of the story, and was told something would be done. Keep in mind all we had ordered was an appetizer and medium pizza. No manager ever showed up. My husband got his food after waiting an hour. I had to wait at least another 10 for my food. Keep in mind this entire time our waitress never came by to explain anything about the situation and was avoiding eye contact so that we wouldn’t speak to her. By the time we got our food we were so upset we weren't even hungry. We asked for boxes and she only brought one. I had to get mine another 5 minutes later when the check was finally brought by. Which was still the full price. No manager. No discount after waiting an hour. Nothing. I had to essentially asked for my food to be comped. Then the waitress dropped the receipts with not so much as a “sorry, have a good night, or thanks see y’all again”. You could tell she just wanted us out of there. I served for over three years, I am very sympathetic to servers. But not so much to such poor customer service. To not even be addressed when asking for a manager was just the cherry on top. Very sad to see such a wonderful place go so far downhill. I do not recommend visiting here, unless you have a few...
