Beautiful modern building at a spectacular Gig Harbor waterfront location with moorage, huge viewing deck with globe treed heaters to visit and stay warm around. Exterior is amazingly landscaped and the building is northwest natural wood with steel structure. Interior is very open modern with a consistent wood steel interior. Seems to be a trademark of 7 seas - in Tacoma and Gig Harbor - clumsy sitting and a very noisy environment. Kinda difficult to relax and visit . Very few tables and chairs that actually fit together in ergonomic fashion. Concrete floors, hard surfaces everywhere make a noisy environment where you have a hard time caring on a conversation. A long church pew is okay for two people to talk but not more than two. Kinda a waste of great space! Need to hire a interior designer to straighten this out and maybe double or triple their business. Didn’t try the food made in the parking lot - maybe next time. Good to have a beer or two but the noise and uncomfortable sitting will make you leave for another great place to...
Read moreThis place is everything!!! My experience started when I called in to 7 Seas Brewery to ask if they had a dinghy dock. They said YES!!!! I was so excited…. I got my boat and cruised over to 7 seas. They have lots of space for boats to dock.
We walked inside. Staff were great. All very happy and wanting to take care of us. We got two Stout beers. We also had a Hefeweizen. They were absolutely deelish! We sat outside with amazing views. Check out my attached video.
I didn’t have any food.. just beer. But the food looked amazing. The people I saw seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
Bottom line…. No matter how you arrive… a good time will be had paired with great beer. The vibe was great and all the customers were having a great time. We will definitely be back again...
Read moreSum up: Good place to hangout with friends. Closes extremely early.
Pros: Their gose beer is amazing! Really unique flavor. There is a lot of seating room my friends and usually go there and play board/card games we brought.
Cons: They don't sell snacks or any food. This I know is commonish for breweries and don't have a problem with this Eastside/Seattle because there is always nearby restaurants. Gig Harbor is pretty spaced out though, there aren't really any quick eats within walking distance or a 2 min drive. I see people there with their own food which is super cool but when I'm visting that isn't as practical.
They close absurdly early. This is really annoying because my friends and I will drive over which takes over an hour and then only get to be there about an hour...
