12 West Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Gilbert

UPDATE: Jan 2025. STILL a great experience. Today the outdoor space is packed with a cycling group. Loud and fun. Our beers are great in the winter Arizona sun. I’m having my go-to Arizona pils and my wife is enjoying a delightful, refreshing citrus brew. Pics attached.

UPDATE MARCH 2024. They've enlarged the space in the year since we've been here. Serving great brews including several crisp and satisfying citrus based craft beers. More pics attached.

UPDATE FEB 2023. STILL a great brew in a great location with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Today our group had the stand-by Arizona Pilsner, the Blood Orange and a Coffee Stout. Perfectly cold, fresh and refreshing.

UPDATE FEB 9. Still brewing some really great pours. Our group of four snapped up some ice cold brews to go with our wood-fired oven pizzas from Fire and Brimstone next door. They still have a reciprocal agreement where you order your food then slip over to 12 West, take a seat outside in the warm sun on the 12 West covered patio while you sip your brews and chow down on some pizza.

This place used to be a favorite go-to for all friends and family. But we’ve had to find a new establishment because they do not allow wine on their patio, when all the other patios allow it. 12 West has a series 7 liquor license, so If they’re going to be jerks about it, then sell some cans of wine in your takeaway fridges. It’s tough going to a place where the rules are inconsistent. We have enjoyed our time here but not everyone enjoys beer and wants to be exiled to a separate patio. Please provide more variety, as your liquor license actually allows you to. Lastly, the service has always been good with the exception of a brunette female bartender. Maybe we have only caught her on “bad” days but she has been rude as hell every time we’ve visited. We’ve always loved our...

A great, local brewery right here in Agritopia! It's located within Barnone, closer to Ray Road/the outdoor seating area. Not a huge area but plenty of seating and you can sit outside when the weather is nice.

The have a great selection of draft and canned beers, all of which are their own brews. Each one has a great description of the flavor as well. You can get some samples, too! The bartenders are great and super helpful so don't worry if you have questions.

My favorite beer here is the Blap Blap! It's so good, fruity, and a easy drink. They have something for everyone type of beer drinker here and you get to support local business. Win, win! Definitely give 12...
