This was the worst customer service experience I have had anywhere. This was also the first time I've been here during lunch hours. I waited 15 minutes for 2 iced teas and while waiting at the drink pickup I saw my mom and I's food. I told the girl at the window the food was mine and could help carry it. She turned back around to face the cook. I went outside and left my iced teas on the table with my mom and came back in. When I walked back up towards the drink pick-up, the girl bringing orders out was asking the cook if she should just "go grab the sand which back since the person didn't touch it" because she brought it there by mistake. I then asked where my sandwich was as my mom had her sandwich and I did not. She said they were making it. I stood there to take the wrap when it was ready and she brushed past me and said "need your table number" which was not very professional. Following this, I said to her it would have made more sense to bring both sandwiches out at once, common sense. The girl then proceeded to say I don't get to talk to a service worker like that. I then asked if there was a manager available to speak to about the service. At this point not specific to her just in general. She said there was no boss or manager in the shop. I then asked what her name was so I could call and leave a review. She then said I don't need to know her name and they don't wear name tags for a reason. She also noted there would be no place for me to call because the shop does not have a direct phone number. I let her know I would ask another employee for her name to which she replied "they won't tell you either".When she walked away I took a picture to describe her since she would not tell me her name. A few minutes went by and she came back to my table telling me to delete the photo from my phone getting in my face beside the table. I let her know I would need to describe her since she did not share her name when I asked. She then proceeded to offer me a refund for the meal and said "you should be grateful you got your food". I should just be grateful I got my food in a restaurant I paid for the food in? When you pay for a meal, customer service goes behind that. She then came back to ask my mom if that was how she raised me???? I spoke with respect up until I was disrespected as a paying customer. A simple "I accidentally brought your food to a different table and we are making you a fresh one now just a few minutes" would suffice. Unprofessional and disrespectful employees should not be working in such a great neighborhood spot. I have been coming here for several years and she ruined the reputation completely. Also, the phone number leads you to leave a voicemail. I have left one requesting a manager or owner call me back on this. The best description I have is she's a brunette with glasses and several arm tattoos. Hopefully, someone with this low of a level in professionalism can be replaced at...
Read moreI would like to say that I have been coming here for years since Agritopia was first built. Did highschool pictures in the arches by the community garden. Even have family friends that own Garage East next door. I love supporting local businesses and having fresh food. Today during my visit, I dined in and took my kids to the restroom. My fault I left the table unattended. When I came back half the table was cleared. I understand the breakfast rush can leave staff disoriented to clean in a rush. But DAMN, I was gone for a minute. Kuddos. Following that I found my frustration at peak, when an employee said I haven’t scrapped some of the plates and can bring them back. I said no because that sounds disgusting. Mistakes happen and my ex had no right to react the way she did and smear food on the table. I cleaned up because mistakes happen and honestly they were working rather organized. They kept their composure as I handled my group. They did offer a gift card. Thank you. I would’ve rather seen the whole order returned as opposed to partial. That way I could just come back another day as I do love this place. Other prospecting customers also waiting for their coffee said, “I hope they refund the whole order.” Either way I love this place and in the past decade never really had a problem. Good job team staying calm, helpful and empathetic. Accidents happen but you guys work hard. Don’t beat yourself up over that. ❤️☕️...
Read moreLoved everything about it besides the service. The service wasn't terrible they also didn't seem to try to do more than their basic job. For instance not met with a smile at the cash register & as soon as got up to the front (both times) the individual taking orders would walk off (while they were busy) without saying anything. Same with the person delivering the food. Dropped it off without any smile or words & when asked (nicely) to get a dressing he replied almost with hesitation "yeah, I can get that" and didn't say a thing when he came back. So again, not terrible service, but if I was rating the service alone it would be a 3. Since we loved everything else I give it a 4. In fact I actually am a big believer in local food so I'd give it 4.5 but I just can't justify a 5 with the sub-par service.
However I will say everything else was great. The ambiance was perfect. They have a cute place in the back to post up if you're getting some work done & the outside patio is lovely with plenty of shade. I adore that they source their food from the local crops there & that my food goes back into supporting that specific community. It is a pretty busy place. We went on a Wednesday between 12-3 & it stayed fairly busy the entire time. This being said there was plenty of space so you can still spread out even if it is pretty busy. All in all I was happy enough about the other stuff that I am sure...
