I recently went in to this restaurant on marketplace. Itās right off of the Santan village Parkway. Service with the front counter. Or front of the house is not so good. The problem I have is I come in and I want to look at the menu for just a few moments. But the girls be at the new girls or the girls that have been there a while. Donāt like the fact that I say just give me a minute. Let me look at the menu real quick. Cause I could never seem to find them after I tell them that I just need a minute to look at the menu. Because when they see me walking toward the counter, they wanna ride away asked me how can I help you? What do you want to order. But I donāt know. Thatās why I need a moment to look at the menu. So it ends up happening is I have to order using the online app. Or I go through Chrome and just order it online. So I never ever speak to the girls at the front again after I told them I just need a minute to look at the menu. Every now and then thereās a brand new girl that is really helpful. But the girls that have been there a while are never around to help and when I ask him to give me a minute, they seem to get upset get mad cause I never see him again. Iād like to tell the manager, but I never see the manager. Every now and then I may see him if I make an order and he canāt find the girls thatās the only time I ever see the manager. But the food is good. I always order a pizza or I get the spaghetti, meatball garlic bread with cheese and the garden salad. I donāt know about the atmosphere cause I never stay. Iāve gone to multiple Barroās locations. This one at the marketplace in Gilbert. Seems to be the only one that has this issue with the front of the house. Iāve gone to the one downtown Phoenix on Central & Virginia. I like the one in Indian band and Pima. The one in Tempe is really good. Iāve even gone to the one down in Casa grande. The other location I think is pretty good. Is the one on Greenway and 40th St. Oh I almost forgot about the location on 32nd St. and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed and disappointed. We went in for lunch on Monday the 26th at 2:35 p.m. We are a five person family. My wife is a cancer patient and had an appetite for Barro's. They took our order gave us drinks and completely forgot about us. We were given a receipt, and a table number. We were the only family in there at the time and our order was all but common. So it's hard to believe we just slipped their minds. I'm accustomed to lunch and dinner rushes at the pizza place I work at so I can say with confidence that there was no rush. We waited 30 min to finally say something after we noticed the workers delivering food to the other tables. They even looked over at us looking disgruntled liked we did something to offend them? When I approached the front register, the girl that had taken our order was talking to a customer. I waved my hands and she ignored me until the customer she was talking to told her ," I think this gentleman needs help." She stated that our order had either been thrown away or erased from the screen. Absolutely Nobody took accountability. The only person that showed any kind of customer service or apologetic behavior was the manager. He gave us a pizza and apologized, but that doesn't take away the disappointment my kids experienced watching everyone else get their food but us. Needless to say our dining in experience there has been tainted by the teenage girls that cared more about socializing than performing the duties on hand. We did get a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe only reason I am even rating this is because for the first time I felt so so unwelcome. It is Thursday night , 8:33pm as I type this. I ordered my pizza online for pick up. I normally have a fine experience picking up my order; staff is friendly and quick. Unfortunately, this was not the case for tonight. I walk in and there is absolutely no customers in there whatsoever. At the cash register there was a cashier talking to a friend that didnāt seem to work there just on some free time and completely disregarded that I was standing there. The other cashier saw me walk in and I let her know that I had an order to be picked up she said OK proceeded to grab my order put my medium pizza box between two computer screens and I had to shove it through instead of handing it to me over an open counter and told me to have a nice night. I ordered a medium pizza with three ranches and a 2 L Pepsi and I was getting ready to be sent out the door with one of my three items that I ordered. I really really do not appreciate being pushed out of a restaurant that I am paying to eat at I do not appreciate the attitude and I absolutely do not appreciate that my order was not even looked at. I understand there are times work is the absolutely frustrating but fake it until you make it. This is the only other time that I will ever write a review on something, I just wanted Spread light on the service that I had this evening because it is not the normal service that I get when I do come to...
