For 30 years I have eaten here 30 years!!! I have watched them raise the prices over and over again. They have become expensive but I have remained loyal and never complained, but LULU you lost a loyal customer today. When you first started I remember how much love you used to put into the food NOW YOU JUST CARE ABOUT THE MONEY!!! I remember we use to comment at how beautiful the vegetables use to be cut uniformly now you just hack them up as fast as you can(you don't even peel the carrots anymore LAZY!!!), your quality has gone down and your prices have gone UP! BUT WHAT I CANNOT TOLERATE is being treated like you don't know me or that I would intentionally do anything dishonest, the chip on my BofA debit card is broken because I sit on my wallet all day and they break, its never been a problem anywhere even at your shop when your daughter runs my card she sticks it in the chip reads broken and she swipes the mag stripe no big deal, but instead today lulu who was in the bathroom while I waited for 10 minutes at a counter totally unsupervised by an employee comes out and essentially accuses me of trying to get over on her for $5.90 ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS ... SO HELP ME GOD I WILL NEVER EAT AT YOUR SHOP AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVEN ONE HOW GREEDY YOU HAVE BECOME!!!! Money changed you lulu from a nice lady to a greedy...
Read moreI've eaten at Lulu's for years and loved it. Hadn't been in a while and thought I'd take the family for some good Mexican food. Looks like they have made some changes. Don't know if it's new ownership or managemet. But the food has changed. The salsas we're different. The green sauce was not blended. It seems like they just gave up half way through the preparation .The pico de gallo was 90% cucumbers and did not look fresh. I ordered an AZ Super Taco and beans along with my families order. They forgot my taco and beans and had to charge me and cook it while my family ate. I've had the AZ Super Taco many times. It has always been a full sized taco with meat, onions, guacamole, cilantro, and hot sauce. This taco with a side of beans has always been enough to fill me up. When they finally brought my order it was a street sized taco and I couldn't find the guacamole. I ate it and was hardly satisfied. I could have eaten two more. Also there was no apology for forgetting my meal. There was no offer of chips, or anything else, to snack on while I waited and my family enjoyed their meals. All this and the prices have gone up as well. All I can say is between the poor service and marginal portions. This is not the...
Read moreThis establishment has been in business for a long time and I've eaten there from time to time over the years. It seems as though the food quality and portions have slipped and the prices have gone up. For four people for lunch it was $80. We only had one entree each and one soft drink each. The large chips and salsa was $13! I had Albondiga Soup which was very good, the broth was very tasty and spiced just right. I also had a shredded beef taco which was not so good. The beef was very wet and it tasted almost like it came from a can or a boiled bag. The taco shell almost seemed premade, it was very thin and shattered on the first bite. The others in my party had ceviche, which was very run of the mill. The street tacos were good but very very small. There's also zero customer service. When I was retrieving my drinks from the front counter, I accidentally spilled the Horchata, the cashier simply poured the remainder of my large drink into a smaller cup, they didn't bother to refill it. The two ladies in my party complained that they had to use napkins in the restroom, there was no toilet paper. With the myriad of Mexican Restaurants in the area I won't be coming back. I would not...
