TLDR: a super cute breakfast place in a nice location with good food and great service!
I only have one complaint- the music was MEGA loud, which made it hard to have a conversation, but literally everything else was great!
I started out with coffee and a SPICY BLOODY (Snooze House Bloody Mix, Yellowbird Habanero Hot Sauce, Tamari, Tito's Handmade Vodka). We had ordered one regular Bloody Mary at the table which was enjoyed. I liked this, but it wasn’t anything special- it was very good. I guess what I’m getting at is that there wasn’t anything remarkable about it, but it was exactly what I ordered and was delicious. I’d get it again.
Our table ordered THE SNOOZE CLASSIC* (Three coge-free eggs cooked any style with your choice of ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo, pulled pork, chicken sausage or plant-based chorizo. Includes hash browns and choice of toast) which I’m told was good and as expected, the OMG! FRENCH TOAST (Fresh brioche stuffed with house-made mascarpone filling and topped with our house-made vanilla cream, caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. O. M. G.) which was super tasty and the envy of the table.
My partner ordered the PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN PANCAKES (Signature house-mode buttermilk pancokes with caramelized pineapple chunks, house-made vanilla cream and cinnamon butter) which he wasn’t a huge fan of- his complaint was that all the pineapple was centered in the middle, and the pancakes are really big! So by the time he got to the middle he was full and sweetened out by the regular sweet pancakes. I had a couple bites and thought it was pretty good, but had a bit from the outside without any pineapple and so I’d probably agree with his assessment that if possible, the cooks might want to spread around the pineapple a bit 😎. He was jealous and wanted the OMG French toast 🤣. He also got chorizo and bacon, extra grilled, which were both good.
I had what was quite possibly the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had in my life: the PARMESAN-PANKO CRAB CAKE BENEDICT* (A griddled crab cake made from a blend of all lump and claw crab meat lightly crusted with our house-mode Parmesan-panko breederumbs atop a secsoned tomato slice and buttery brioche bose. Topped with an avocado, poached cage-free egg, house-mode cream cheese hollandaise, fresh dill and pistou drizzle.) It was beyond delicious. If you like crab cakes and eggs benedict, I’d highly advise that you try it!
Our server was very nice, accommodating, and ready with the jokes. We came here on a Sunday morning early, and it was BUSY but they sat us pretty quickly and we didn’t have to wait overly long for our food. This place is POPPIN’!
I’m not from the area, so I would’ve preferred to sit outside, and maybe next time we fly in to Arizona, we’ll do that! I was very impressed with Snooze as a...

Your behavior this morning was utterly unacceptable. For no reason whatsoever, you treated me with blatant disrespect and a cocky, condescending attitude. I was simply trying to order food and eat in peace, yet you acted as if my presence was an inconvenience, snapping at me for not ordering fast enough, not sitting quickly enough, and even for not hearing you clearly. I wasn’t rude to you at all. I have PTSD and my anxiety increases when Im alone and in a crowded place. Your actions were not just unprofessional, they were reckless. You have no idea what someone might be going through or how close to the edge they could be. I have kids and responsibilities that kept me grounded today, but not everyone does. Your dismissive, arrogant demeanor could be the final straw for someone with nothing to lose. You’re lucky that I’m not that person. But the next one might be. The real world isn’t the sheltered bubble you seem to live in, where you can treat people like garbage without consequences. Violence is real, and it’s not just something you see on TV. Ask your manager how visibly shaken I was, struggling to keep my composure. That wasn’t weakness, that was me choosing restraint despite your provocation. You need to wake up and understand the impact of your actions. Treating people with such unwarranted hostility isn’t just poor service; it’s a dangerous gamble with your own safety. This isn’t a threat, it’s a warning. Do better. Treat people with respect, because you never know who you’re dealing with or what they’re capable of when pushed too far. Today was your lucky day. Don’t count on it...
Read moreI starting eating at Snooze back in Austin, TX about 5 years ago.The place was great, the concept atmosphere, food selection and quality were excellent. When I moved back to Arizona about 4 years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Snooze near my home. I had equally enjoyable meals here. However, the last three visits have been disappointing. The food has been cold. The quality seems to have deteriorated and the service is average at best. Today however, was the worst by far. It took a long time(15 minutes) for our server to take our order(the place was only about half full, it was a Monday morning). We asked for coffee and tea, the coffee was weak. We asked for ice water, it never came. I asked for my food to be hot(I was emphatic - but polite), the food was cold. The thing that was eye opening was the manager. I explained my dissatisfaction and she replied,"we'll remake your order". While I appreciate the effort to warm up the food, we didn't get an apology or an explanation. The manager just seemed to shrug her shoulders and had an ,"oh well" attitude. With this lack of leadership and bad attitude, it's easy to see why this restaurant has slid. The bright spot was Jennifer, she was the server who took over and did her best to make up for the first server and the manager's lack of concern. I will not be returning. Anyone considering eating here in the downtown Gilbert area can do themselves a favor and pass on this establishment. There are lots of alternatives right next door and a...
