Louies Lasagna — Restaurant in Gilroy

I had read a couple of negative reviews on a FB page,based on the prices of the items on the menu. I had to try it out first hand. At the end of September I ordered a la carte a small beef lasagna and the Italian Chopped salad $70. I got home and was like damn this better be good just spent my play money on lasagna 😂. It was delicious! The portion was enough to feed 4 adults with some leftovers. Fast forward to today. With the heat not letting up and not wanting to cook, I ordered the Small Sausage Lasagna Dinner. It includes Lasagna, choice of meat I chose meatballs, garlic bread, veggies and you're choice of salad I chose the ceasar salad all for $100. It was a steal! Everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh and delicious. Website says it feeds 4-5, but all four if us had dinner and will be having Louie's lasagna and fixing for lunch tomorrow. I can see where the price seems off putting at a glance but it is so worth it quality and quantity wise. Give this small business a chance you will...

During the recent heat spell, I was not about to cook so we had a special Saturday dinner from Louie Lasagna! The portions were generous and everything is so fresh! You can tell the food is homemade. We had five adults to feed so we got a small meat lasagna dinner and a large sausage & meatballs (because PROTEIN!) I was pleasantly surprised to learn the veggies and salad were included in the meal. Our veg loving family members were happy. I would buy that balsamic dressing! It’s sooo good! We had plenty of food and enough for leftovers the next day. The meatballs get better after a day and made fabulous meatball subs! My only suggestion…MORE GARLIC! We are in Gilroy after all! 🤣 Can’t wait to try the pesto...

We enjoyed a tasty and fresh dinner ! My husband was planning to have 16 men over for a meal and asked me what should we make, I recommended Louie's Lasagna and the restaurant didn't disappoint. One of our guest's is gluten free, we asked the restaurant if they had any gluten free options and they were happy to accommodate us with gluten free meatballs. Our takeout meal also included a large beef lasagna as well as the pesto vegetable lasagna. All three menu selections were tasty and plenty for our party.
