Food was good. But unfortunately when I got home I noticed I got double charged and so I called the next day and was assured by the owner that she would have her daughter send me my money back via her zelle. Fast forward a few days and nothing. I called back and left a message with one of the servers and was assured she would call back. I never got a call back and so I decided to call 3 times in one day and I finally got a hold of the owner. She apologized and said her daughter was unable to send the zelle and that she would ask around to see who could send me my money. She asked if I could come back to the restaurant which I could not since I live 2 hours I was only visiting Gilroy to visit family. I ended up just calling my bank and disputing the charge. Delicious food, clean environment, friendly and attentive staff.

I ordered their large bowl of Pozole. It came with 2 tostadas and plenty of all the various toppings on the side. The Pozole was a decent size, and it was delicious. It was perfectly balanced and not too greasy. The authentic flavor of a pozole was definitely there.

I also got to try their Chilaquiles Verdes plate with Carne Asada. The beans and the chilaquiles were decent. The egg was fluffy and the sauce complimented everything so well. The cheese and cream topped it off. The carne asada was well seasoned and had good texture. The rice had great flavor and was fluffy.

Overall the food was great. The server was very attentive especially for being the only one working the floor. One thing I did not appreciate was the server deceiving us by offering if we wanted guacamole as soon as we sat down. Since it was offered, we agreed. She brought two molcajetes of guacamole and $26 was added to our bill for the charge of both molcajetes. The server also took it upon herself to over charge our card $38 without our consent. $38 that was not part of our bill. This woman is deceiving and I’m sure we’re not the first she has done this to. Luckily we had checked our bank app before leaving and took back the $40 tip we had left. I will not be returning....
