Super Burger Drive-in — Restaurant in Gilroy

"Super Burger" is not just a clever name, their burgers are very good or "super" if you will! They grill or toast the buns and it gives the burger just a little something that takes it to the next level. I think I ate a double cheeseburger is like 2 minutes flat, and I'm usually a very slow eater. These burgers are large and well made, definitely will fill up even a large man. The double meal comes with a double cheeseburger, fries, and a large drink for $8.99! And the drink is huge! Definitely my top choice for burgers in Gilroy! When my coworkers are I went at lunchtime they were very busy and it took a long time to order and get our food, like around 50 minutes. I owe that long wait time to a guy who ordered like 15 meals in front of the line! With that in mind they did really well with just the two guys working (one on the grill, the other taking orders, answering the phone, making the drinks, fries, and packing the orders!) That's why I still gave them 5 stars! We've been back since and did not have to wait anywhere near as long, but don't be surprised if you do have to wait since this place is pretty popular in Gilroy. Ordered a double bacon burger with fries, burrito and 3 taquitos. Burger patties were cooked well but very thin, tasted sub par not worth 8$. Bacon was not crispy almost felt rubbery. Fries were extremely salty and over cooked. The burrito was essentially a chimmychanga that comes from the jose ole packs that come from any grocery store and the taquitos were the same not hand made just reheated frozen food. Split the taquito to see what it was made of and the tortilla fell off and the meat stood. straight up still attached to the other half like a Frankenstein meat. They both were over cooked and stale,didnt even eat them and i wouldnt even feed it to a dog.Absolute garbage. Will never go back. If you think this is a good buger place I feel sorry for your life. I'm not a fan of restaurants just because there in my home town There are plenty of other places to eat a much better burger...

I am not a big meat eater, but when I want a burger this is my go to place. Everything is made fresh when you order it. Their fries are so yummy. They are always hot and perfectly seasoned. They have a bunch of fried sides to choose from. You can't go wrong with any of them. They use shaved ice for their drinks. I love to eat ice and I know it's horrible for my teeth, so I go here sometimes just to buy big cups of ice for a quarter. The place is busy most of the time. The wait is never too long.
