Michelle's Neighborhood Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Gladstone

First time at the bar was great, friendly people and great atmosphere. Second time was terrible. The bar was filled with angry bikers that immediately tried to start an argument/fight with me and my family over a game of pool. Me and my family never said a word to them and tried our best to be out of their way (which was impossible with a packed bar) but they still pressed the issue and WANTED a problem. Racially motivated comments were said by them that forced us to leave and go to another bar. That other bar is called “The Hideout”. It is down the street from this bar, and I highly recommend. Not sure if this is out of the normal for this place given it was the second time I was there but it was enough for me to never go back. Those people were comfortable with being downright nasty for a reason. Maybe this type of place encourages that behavior or is too scared to punish it. Middle of the day on a wednesday and me and my friends wanted to play pool, wierd time I know, but everywhere said pool tables were 21+ and we couldnt find anywhere. Called this place, and Michelle was actually the one who answered and told us to come in. Empty bar so we played pool and talked to her, she was very nice and let us play literally anything we wanted on the jukebox (they literally have everything you can think of, we were blasting Death grips and lorna shore) and ordered some food. I used to just drive right past this place all of the time as it looked like a little hole in teh wall local bar at Gladstone - and indeed it is a neighborhood local bar where people gather to drink and play pool. But I looked at their menu over the website and saw they had a variety of food to offer, including some good salads. So I went and tried it - and waitress was nice and the salad was delicious. I was very pleased. I don't drink so I won't go there for that - but the food was surprisingly good. I will definitely return and for my experience give it a five...
