Restaurant Review: Dunkin’ – L. Rogers Wells Blvd, Glasgow KY Reviewed by a Veteran food critic who knows a proper cup of coffee when he tastes it.
Atmosphere: Dunkin’ in Glasgow offers a functional, fast-paced, and surprisingly welcoming environment. While the building layout is tight and the drive-thru often feels like rush hour traffic at the Indy 500, stepping inside offers a calm and inviting atmosphere that too many regulars are missing out on. The scent of fresh coffee and donuts wraps around you like a warm blanket, coaxing even the grumpiest morning person into a better mood.
Menu Highlights:
Coffee (Iced/Hot, French Vanilla w/ Cane & Creamer): Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. This isn't the overly sweet dessert masquerading as coffee some chains push—this is the real deal. Affordable and consistent, it's a daily ritual worth repeating.
Black Pepper Bacon Croissant Sandwich: This thing slaps. Toasted buttery croissant, gooey cheese, a cooked egg that holds its own, and smoky black pepper bacon that doesn’t ask permission—it takes charge. One bite and you’ll wonder why your mom didn’t learn this move. (Grandma still gets a pass.)
Seasoned Potatoes: Golden, crispy, and dangerously hot out of the oven—handle with care. Flavor-wise, they’re divine. Almost too good to be from Earth.
Donuts: A classic lineup that doesn’t disappoint. From jelly-filled to toasted coconut to apple fritters with real apples inside (not just essence or puree), they’re baked with pride and served with heart. Yes, you’ll want to go back for more. And yes, you probably will.
Pricing: Extremely reasonable. Most full meals clock in under $6–$7, and the quality outpaces the price tag by a wide margin. In an era of overpriced fast food, Dunkin’ holds the line and delivers.
Service & Staff: Now this is where this Dunkin’ truly shines. Manager Jackie leads a crew that includes Kayley, Presley, Braydyn, Katlyn, and Hannah—each one a morning MVP. From handling rushes to remembering faces, they set the tone for early morning hospitality. Orders are fast, accurate, and served with genuine friendliness. Are mistakes made? Sometimes, sure—but if you're staying in your car, speeding through the drive-thru, and then complaining, that's on you. Walk in, meet the people, and you’ll get why this crew deserves your respect.
Cleanliness & Maintenance: The store is well-kept, clean, and clearly maintained with care. Behind the counter is efficient, with no sign of clutter or chaos—even during rush periods.
Parking/Drive-Thru: This is the one downside. The lot is cramped with a tight drive-thru lane and barely enough room for two cars to pass in some spots. Maneuvering during peak hours can be frustrating, so plan accordingly.
Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a real cup of coffee, a hot sandwich that actually tastes homemade, and baked goods that hit the mark, this Dunkin’ should be on your rotation. It’s not about corporate polish here—it’s about people, flavor, and fast service done right.

Read moreI’m a past employee there. I was fired for not coming into work for having covid. I found people to cover my shifts so they weren’t short staffed. After I tested negative I went back but the manager called me saying I couldn’t work until I brought doctors proof that I didn’t have covid this was on a Saturday. I texted her later and told her I would have the note the following Monday. She texted me the next day (Sunday) saying are you just not gonna show up. I told her exactly why she told me and said no you told me not to until I have the note and that won’t be till tomorrow and told her I’m out of town running errands. She said I was fired. I contacted the two owners and they said they would look into it but never did. I had papers for them to sign to receive temporary assistance with bills and they refused and said they weren’t helping me. I gave them proof of the wrongful termination and they said they didn’t care I’m no longer employed there that it basically doesn’t matter anymore. After I was fired I had current employees send me pics of other employees climbing on counters feet above the ice box and said they were never cleaned off. I brought this up to the owners and they told me I no longer work there that I shouldn’t be concerned. Later on the manager who wrongfully fired me was terminated for wrongfully firing other employees. When I first started I wasn’t given training. I was just told to watch people make drinks and learn from it. They don’t teach proper sanitation. I know for a fact because I’ve personally witnessed people pick up trash off the ground pick up dropped money and then handle food and drinks with dirty hands. And then I’ve witnessed some who has had gloves on and push the trash down to make more room because they don’t wanna take 30 seconds to pull bag out and put new bag in. That place is poorly ran. And I hope the owners(Zach and Carter) see this. They wouldn’t take me serious before maybe they will now and make the store for the customers instead of for the profit margin. I’m recommending any bottled drinks or the lemon loads. That’s about the only thing at that store that...
