While the atmosphere was warm and the staff were very personable and friendly, there are some noted improvements to be made in the actual coffee. Now I'm taking into account that it could just be an isolated incident with a new employee or something like that so I will be trying it again at a different time, but I ordered a breve cortado and got a massive 20oz beverage instead. The shot was underextracted and the half & half was steamed so hot that it was thin and watery and tasted more like cow than it did milk. I had purchased some bean as well with the drink so I just decided I would make a pour over when I got back to the office and not worry about it, but after noticing the grounds wouldn't bloom during pre-infusion, I checked the roast date (which I should have done prior to purchase, that's on me) and it had been roasted in May of last year. I'm well aware that this is Glasgow and not Nashville or Portland, but this shop really does have the potential of equipment, personality, and atmosphere to be something special if both better training and discipline are invested in the craft. If a request is made, I would be more than willing to give tips and pointers in person to help better the quality this business' product. (The motivations are purely selfish, I started a job here in town and desperately need a decent coffee...
Read moreUpdate: I have been meaning to do this for a while, after about a month of coming here, my dad decided he did not want to come back after what he saw. The lady that fixed our sandwiches was fooling with other things and she didn't even wash or put gloves on before fixing our sandwiches. That is the reason why we had not been back. I know you were going through training staff but there is no excuse for this. You should always wear gloves when fixing someone's sandwich, during covid or not. So that's the reason he hasn't been back but I did a few times through the drive-thru to get coffee.
This is a very nice cafe and has a great atmosphere. I hope nothing changes because this owner is on to something here. I and my dad tried it out today it was the first time for both of us and we loved it. My dad told me he wants to go and hang out every Friday. So y'all will see us more often! The Only thing I would love to see is a few more of those black couches in there. Also, everyone reading this, they have great sandwiches too! The turkey and Swiss are really good and my dad said the ham and cheese were really good. I'm glad we have a coffee cafe! Woot! Went back today, and tried the turkey and swiss on the pita bread... OH MY LANTA!!! It was awesome and I love the pita bread better! I'm...
Read moreAbove and beyond! Its decor is so unique and original. The walls are a huge blackboard, and everyone is welcome to draw or write in it, perfect for small children and adult artists. My favorite thing was the christmas tree all year long. I visited during Easter, so it had Easter eggs. There is plenty of free parking lot and drive-thru. I got a tasty pulled pork sandwich and a creamy vanilla latte. Their salad is superb.
We were having a rough morning, nevertheles we felt better as soon as we stepped inside. All the baristas are so sweet and kind, but I'd like to thank a young male barista who approached us and gave to my kids a coin for the bubble gum ball. That brighted our day. This place feeded our...
