I've been going here for quite some time. I don't like the bagels. I grew up in Cherry Hill, and these are not real bagels. They are bread in the shape of bagels. My son thinks they're fine so I order for him because of the convenient location. I get my bagels elsewhere. I've been ordering a half dozen cinnamon raisin bagels almost once a week. The cost is $7.25, and I give a $0.75 tip. Last week, a guy called me at 12:21 pm (as shown on my phone) to ask if I was coming to get my order. My receipt says I was there at 12:33 pm. They close at 1. The only time I forgot to get my bagels - last year - I realized after noon, and I called the store, asked if they would be there about 1:15 pm or if they preferred I get them the next day, promising to pay the full price for them. I even offered my credit card number over the phone. They told me to come - no problem. Today, I called to place an order and called 22, yes 22 times before someone finally answered the phone. The man said I was no longer allowed to place phone orders because I didn't get my bagels until 20 minutes after closing last time, and I've done this too many times. I told him that was not me. He had me confused with someone else. I told him I was 100% sure, but he was sure he was right. I will not go there again. I have my receipt to prove it, but I will not support a place who is so rude to their customers. For anyone who does do this to them, the customers should be told when getting there after closing that if they do it again, they will no longer be allowed to place phone orders. This way, they will be sure to tell the right people! I went to Township Bagels instead, and I recommend it! The bagels are much closer to what I...
Read moreHorrible customer service, completely unaccountable. I arrived at rys at 7:56am this Saturday morning. They are supposed to open at 8. They didn't open their doors till 8:15! It was 40 degrees out and extremely windy. I had been waiting for nearly 20 minutes in the freezing cold while they were supposed to be open. On top of that, the machine they used for meal swipes wasn't working. I waited all that time and I couldn't even get food. Instead of apologizing they blamed Rowan and didn't even care that I waited so long. They have had meal swipe issues before. Their excuse is to always blame the machine and say its out of their control. However, this is their fault. They failed to get extra meal swipe readers. They're just little things that you plug into the iPad. The fact that they only have one is absurd. They need to talk to gourmet dinning about this issue and stop just blaming them. If it was a one time thing I could understand. After malfunctions happening time and time again at some point they need to learn from their mistakes. I've gone to rys constantly. I give them lots of bussiness. After this, clearly Rys does not care about their customers and I will not be...
Read moreI kindly kept correcting my orders but today I got home and realized they gave me 1 cinnamon bagel and 2 plain bagels instead of 2 sesame and 2 plain. When I called them, they said “Well, we didn’t charge you extra” even though it wasn’t my concern, i needed 4 bagels. They tried to blame me saying that I ordered only 3 plain bagels. I don’t know why I got a cinnamon then. Their quality got worse but can’t say the same thing about their customer service since it always sucked. Ask for jelly and butter on your bagel and enjoy your butter. You are lucky if you can feel the taste of the jelly. I understand it’s busy and hard to keep up with orders but how can you constantly mess up orders you take? What’s exactly wrong with this place? I was a barista and I know this is not how you treat your customers and correct...
