VIVI BUBBLE TEA — Restaurant in Glassboro

original review: I’ve been coming here an embarrassing amount the past few weeks, and I get the taro milk tea almost every single time, and when it’s good it’s good, but the quality is super inconsistent. Sometimes it is insanely sweet, sometimes it’s perfect, sometimes it tastes like nothing :-( I’ve stopped getting the bubbles as well because one day they tasted like nothing, as opposed to syrupy-sweet like usual. I’ve come to love this place, but I travel a half-hour out of my way to come here (because there are no bubble tea places in my town) & I just wish that I could rely on my $6 drink tasting the same every single time.

edit: since posting this review, the taste has become much more consistent, so I’m changing the three stars to five 👍🏼 I think everyone just wasn’t on the same page about the recipe, but I’m really glad to see that that no longer seems to be the case. Great place,...

YUMMY!

Vivis just opened in the Shoprite plaza. I like Vietnamese bubble drinks so I stopped by to try them out. While they don't have paper menus yet, they serve teas, ice cream and light snacks like popcorn chicken.

I ordered the signature fruit tea. It is a passion fruit, orange citrus drink. I could drink a gallon of that. The barista can make it less sweet if you ask. They were very pleasant when I spoke with them. They said the paper menu would be available by the 18th but you can get it on the website. I've included some pictures.

Definitely try the signature tea. I'll probably be back to try the ice cream when it gets warmer. If you are looking for something different than the usual fast food, diner, or buffet fare Glassboro has to offer, I would recommend it.

Now if only this backward town could get a decent...

I've been coming to Vivi's for years and have always loved the drinks and food they have to offer. I do come here way more often than I should but for good reason. It's hands down the best boba shop in South Jersey. I almost never have a complaint about anything I order from here, especially when Ryan is there. The only thing I can say, is whenever a specific employee is there (I'm not sure of his name) my food and drinks come out messed up or straight up bland. I'm not sure if I did something to upset him but I feel bad having to ask staff to remake my drink or food. I've never had a problem here and have only good things to say.
